Our trip started early. The van driver picked us up at 4am and was even early. His name was Joey and he worked for Filipino travel center. He was great I recommend him and the travel site as they made booking really easy. From other reviews I see some folks paid 35-40. Not me. I went with 3 others and... More

Been there with my 2 other friends. We left Manila early but still arrived later in the morning. We never though that we would aboard on a 4x4 vehicle from that very bumpy road on the way to the trekking site. Its hilarious coz our we swayed and hit our body off it.It took us almost an hour to reach... More

Mount Pinatubo ranked #3 in themindunleashed.org's list of 15 of the most beautiful crater lakes in the world and I'm happy that I've trekked & seen this beautiful place. Today, this active volcano has become one of the more popular tourist spots in the Philippines and is also one of the most breathtaking places in my country. I have been... More

After the eruption in 1991, the devastation that this volcano has brought thousands homeless. Yet the remnants of its destructive nature had created spectacular land sculptures. The lava flows and ash falls expelled from this dormant volcano had resulted new landforms that continuously changes through the weather. It would take around 2.5 to 3 hours land travel from Manila to... More

It was a long and tiring trekking for 2hours, but it worth the effort after reaching the crater. It's a must try for people who love nature :-)

We travelled 2hrs (van) from Manila to Tarlac, thrn transferred to a 4x4. Trecking is almost 2hrs depending on your phase (7km). --make sure to bring your food and dribks because drinks at the top is very expensive. (I guess x3 of the price in 7-11). --don't wear shoes as you will pass some rivers. trecking sandals is advised.

I was in third year college when Mt. Pinatubo erupted in 1991. It was only in 2013 when I learned that there are available arranged tours going to the crater. Got a good deal from a promo website and off we go to Tarlac. We left Manila at 4am and were at Mcdonalds, Capas at 530am. After having breakfast, we... More

Great from tour booking to end of tour. Booking lady was courteous and efficient, guides were funny, friendly and very helpful, Lunch was average but other than that, WOW!! Next time I want to see lava flowing! try to do a number 2 before you go(or use natures latrine). Loved it!!
