I went here with my friends to hike. I am not a good hiker and I really had to take a few stops to get to the crater. However it was so rewarding, the experience is really one that I will not forget. If you are a beginner like me who does not exactly enjoy walking, please bring tons of... More

First of all the tour starts at 6:30-7:am. So if you are coming from manila its a long ride and I suggest to stay in tarlac city just to have a good night sleep. Its trekking again so bring a good pair of sandals. From tarlac its just 45 mins depending on your driver to get to pinatubo and in... More

Me and my boyfriend took the tour of Sonia Bognot. Since we didn't want to drive early morning, we opted to rent a room from her. The room was nothing fancy. Just simple, ordinary, clean enough for a night rest. Tour included the jeep ride, water, breakfast, and lunch, and the tour guide. Here's a 13-min video of the approx.... More

The wife and I finally got around to making the arduous trek up Mount Pinatubo. We booked our tour a few days in advance and went with a couple of friends to make the budget easier. Prices are different dependent on what tour company you go with but basically 12,000 pesos for up to 5 people. Transfer from Manila or... More

The daytrip to Mount Pinatubo was one of the most exciting and unforgettable trips I have done. We went as a couple from Manila. The best price we were being offered by tour agencies in the city was 6,000 peso each, which was far too expensive. After doing some research online, we found a much cheaper tour run by Sonia... To reach Pinatubo you should: - leave from Angeles Mabalacat (jeepney terminal) maximum at 7Am; - take a jeepney to Dau bus terminal (8Pesos); - once there take a bus to Capas (direction Tarlac/Baguio; ticket on board, 45P with Five Star Bus or 20P with public buses); - take a jeepney to Capas Market (8P); - take another jeepney to... I had been wanting to make this trek as I was in Manila in 1991 when Pinatubo erupted so was interested to see what caused such devastation. There were 4 of us - we booked a private day tour from Manila with Tripinas Tours. We were collected at our hotel at 4am. Three hours later, after a breakfast stop at... More

My first time to trek and visit Mt. Pinatubo. I was really eyeing this tour long ago but the price/rate is holding me back especially if you're travelling within a small number of group, much more for a couple. Luck came and I was advised by our office to accompany a group of our clients from the US so I... More

We went to Mt.Pinatubo last March 24,2014 with some group of friends. It was fun but very challenging.Even though it took us almost a month to have a scheduled for the reservation due to some weather conditions, atlas we were able to pushed through.I belong from one of those thousands families being affected last 1991 in Zambales and going there is a... It was a bumpy and dusty 4x4 ride to start our journey. The sun was just showing up as we started our trek. There were the Aeta kids selling drinks, very much willing to be taken photos as subject. It was rocky going up but would prefer this than mud. Up the crater was a spectacular view. Such a shame... More
