Its true there is nothing to see in Ilog Maria but the products are worth visiting. They have an area where they show the visitors how to make the items. When we visited they showed ya rabbits with babies.

I've been buying Ilog Maria products for 2 years now on a monthly basis. Visiting the farm has been a regular routine for me now. First of all, it's not a place to tour and unwind. It's basically where you can buy their organic products at cheaper prices compared to Manila. Some of my favorite Ilog Maria products: 1. Propolis... More

I was expecting to see bees, their hives, the farm. though, i did saw the bees but not their hives. No one greeted us when we came to visit, it's on your own. nobody cares if you go strolling around, opening gates and whatsoever. the place itself is hidden, scary like there's a warning sign before you enter type of... The main reason why my family wanted to go to Tagaytay is to go to Ilog ni Maria. Other places we visited along the way were just added bonus to the trip. ;) My sister-in-law loved their soaps. They are not just sweet smelling but it is really effective if you have a teenager who is having problems with acne... More

It was just a small store selling their bee products: bee pollen for energy, shampoos that dont lather, nice soaps, honey, honey vinegar, liniment, body oil, potions that cure gout etc. they only accept cash. No seminar on honey's benefits when we got there. Toilet for visitors- no toilet paper available.

Located in Silang, we took a jeepeney ride from the place where we were staying. The jeepeney drops you at the highway and from there its about a km walk to the bee farm. The farm aims in encompassing itself to the surroundings and thus move a step forward in the direction of self-sustenance. Quite a bit of information is... More

They certainly sell great organic products! I think most of the products are home made, and is very affordable to (Php 35 per soap) compare to other branded products such as Lush, which is waaay more expensive. I love all their soaps because they smell soooo good! My fave is the honey & milk. Don't forget to buy their honey... More

On our way to Tagaytay, my teenage daughter asked my husband to take a detour along Silang, Cavite as she wanted to see what all the fuss is all about at Ilog Maria. We arrived at this quaint looking place with a lot of people lining up to buy different organic products made from bees. The shelves had soaps, shampoos,... More

Ilog Maria is a great place to buy quality honey based products and other organic materials. They have virgin honeys, soaps, shampoos, liniments, insect repellents, bath gels, and other organic supplements. The best find for me is their Honey Cider vinegar! Excellent for detox and for fresh greens salad. Ilog Maria haven't resorted to machines doing mass-production and they work... More

I wouldn't consider Ilog Maria an ultimate to-go-to tourist spot but it's a good place to buy cheap and quality products made of honey and other organic materials. Aside from their virgin honeys, they also offer soaps, shampoos, liniments, insect repellents, bath gels, and other organic supplements among others. Various shapes of candles made of beeswax are also available. What... More
