Well I did enjoy overall destination to Belitung with my family during weekend. They have really clean and fascinating beach and small island, white sands and great view. I suggest if you go for first time, better hire a tour guide to accompanying you during all day, there are no taxi, so you have to rent a car. You can... More

The island Belitong is 43 minutes away from Jakarta, capital city of Indonesia. On day one we had breakfast with the famous local noodles Ahiyu. Then we did island hoping. One of the beautiful islands was Langkuas Island. It has a lighthouse & natural pool called Kolam Bidadari (Angel pool). The pool is surrounded by big rocks. The other landmark... More

It's about 45 minutes away from Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. We were a group of 27 people & we started the trip with Ahiyu noodle for breakfast. Then went straight for island hoping. We were so impressed with Langkuas island which has a lighthouse. The island has a natural pool surrounded by big rocks, called Kolam Bidadari (Angel... More

Very refreshing and good for snorkeling enthusiast. Still untouched and not touristy. I bet soon will be more crowded. Totally recommended for family holiday.

Not so vulgar and crowded as most popular tourist spots. You can enjoy strolling in one of the white sand beach, enjoying the crystal clear water, eating the tasty local dishes.

Belitung Island is just a virgin island! It is untouched and not really out there yet! It's a peaceful place with no traffic and very little amount of public poverty (no street kids). The island brings you back to a world from the past. Clean and beautiful oceans!

Belitung Island is not so big. About 3 days is enough to wander around the island. The best time to visit is from March - October. The streets in Belitung are relatively good.We rented a car (include the driver as our guide). The most activity I liked was hopping islands. We hired a boat from Tanjung Kelayang beach and began... Went to Belitong at the beginning of the month for company outing. The city is small. However, you could find a few attractions to visit. If you love beaches you should visit Batu Banyak and Pulau Pasir and many more. But, my number one place to visit in Belitung falls for Danau Khaolin. I still can't get the blue out... More
