It far from central yogya city. You can sight seeing and enjoy the beauftiful beach with young coconut water.
This beach is just peacefull, even though the beach is not good for swim and it small beach surround by rocks but the view is just great. Good place to hiding from city croud and relaxing.
Before living in Yogyakarta, I never thought there's beaches other than Parangtritis in Yogyakarta. It turns out there are lot of beaches in Gunung Kidul area and because it's quite far from the city, it takes about 3 hours with car and the road to there are quite daring, the beaches there are a lot more remote and not crowded like...

As being neighborhood to krakal beach, baron beach and others, this was one of my favorite, since the visitor are not as crowded as baron, the beach are divine, the water are so pure.
Even faraway from Jogja, its around 2 hours, but this beach is very nice and better than parangtritis , very clean, white sand and many typical beach plants. and many local culiner seller here, try "peyek undur undur " or even fried lobster :) unfortunetly, hotel and bungalow difficult to be found here
Clean, white sandy beach, a couple of stall selling coconuts and soft drinks. There are 2 small islands in the background, best view to wait sunset and you'll get a nice background for a photo shoot.. the rest is not so big white sandy beach. mat rental is available

But really cute place and really pretty beach nonetheless. There are also little bamboo bungalows you can rent (about the same price) the next beach along.
