I am a bit surprised that rating of ViaVia Jogja has slipped to the 9th. 4 months ago, it still ranked in the first place. Anyway, I did two tours with them: culinary trip and motorbike to Prambanan Temple. I recommend the culinary tour wholeheartedly. The guid will take you to 5-6 different most famous and special local culinary spots... More

We did the river walking tour with ViaVia and it was absolutely amazing. The hour was very long and our lovely guide provided us with loads of information on Indonesian culture, the education system, everyday live and more. She gave us the opportunity to try some special Indonesian drinks and food. It was also really nice that we directly got... More

We took the morning cooking class course at ViaVia and went to the local market to buy the ingrediants, which was a very nice experience! The cooking class is really nice and very professional we even made some side dishes in addition to what we had chosen! I highly recommend this cooking class!

We booked a 'tour' of the Pranbanan Temple complex and it was just under 400,000 rp and all it ended out being was a driver to take us up there and back. A taxi would have been about 100,000 rp return. Where's the value add here ?

This is the 2nd tour we took from ViaVia but sadly, this one was HORRIBLE. We were picked up at the hotel 30 minutes late. The guide said they picked up another passenger with the same name headed ALMOST in the same direction. Yeah, sure. Anyway, during the whole ride to the attractions and on the way back to the... I did the traveling theater tour, and it was amazing! The prices are (more than) fair, the staff wonderful, friendly, and fluent in English. The tour itself was amazing, and it is respectfully organized with the local community. I would recommend these tours without reservation, and will use this company again!

This agency is excellent! Staff speaks good English. We did the tour by bike to Prambanan - which was very nice (ask for Sigid) - and the visit to Borobudur by car - which was magical!

We went on three tours: cooking class, religion tour, and a private driver to brodobur temple. First the cooking tour: Good tour. Made was an excellent instructor. The market was great. Everyone (3 of us) worked together to create 2 main dishes, several sides, and a dessert. It was fun, but I felt more like we were assistance versus actually... More

I had high expectations for this tour as have done the village bike tour in the past. However, for 350,000 rupiah, this tour missed the mark. Only thing included in price was bike hire. Tour guide did not speak English and even with riding with a person who speaks Indo, he still did not explain anything or talk at all... More
