I'm very satisfied with the Prambanan by motorbike tour and the Kali Code Walk. The guides are quite professional and the pricing is fair for solo travelers. Viavia's high standard is also reflected in the fair trade shop, cafe and guesthouse. Clearly Viavia is a Yogya travelers' institution. For many years to come.

Viavia bakery placed at the entry. Variety of cakes. Delicious, smell good ^_^ and fresh from the oven. They give discount at 4 PM. Worthy.

I would like to personally thank Diwan, Evi, Uuth, Filza, and all ViaVia staff for arranging our tours and logistics and making sure that tours are memorable. It was second times I've contacted viavia, first time it was in 2014. Both times we had great fun doing Alun-Alun and village biking tours. Our tour guides are young and smart fellows,... More

The afternoon cooking class was run by Ibu Madé. Her kind demeanour and good command of English made it most enjoyable for my family. Madé is an experienced cook with many recipes tucked under her chef's hat. Being very well acquainted with Indonesian cooking, I was impressed at her knowledge and patient explanation. The boys appreciated that she took time... More

The cooking class was great. Going to the market was defenitely an added value, so take the class in the morning. The teacher was fun and patient. The price was kind of expensive (170.000 RM) which made it seem uncertain that a good portion of the money goes to the staff organizing it. Also the cook book is ViaVia branded... More

I visited the Via Via Cafe several times as it was the perfect place to unwind after a long walk through Jogja's cultural sites. It is a place that has everything I would seek at a travel hub : a bakery (bagels, granola bars, wheat bread - all home made and organic!), a cafe/restaurant that feature a fusion of local/western... We booked a cycling tour via Yogyakarta.nl and yes we really liked the tour. Our guide was really nice, the tour is good to get an impression of the real Indonesian culture, we think you should do this. Furthermore, the price is only €9 per person! We would absolutely give this tour 4-5 stars on Tripadvisor. However, since we booked... More

Bu Made is so wonderful! I enjoyed thoroughly the cooking class and the trip to the traditional market. We made tempe & tahu bacem, terong balado and basil chicken. I love every second of it and will do it again for a different menu! I highly recommend this cooking class if you really want to learn the true indonesian experience!... More
