Except Borobudur Buddhist temple and prambhanan temple, nothing was exciting about the place. People were not very helpful as in Bali. Misleading informations caused lot of trouble and we lost much time at the centre of tourist attraction - sultan palace in Jogjakarta. Travel was hectic and expensive. Money exchangers at airport gave different conversion rates on USD currency of... More

Just came back from my trip to Jogja and had organised a private tour for 2 of us from Melbourne. Supy is a very efficient and lovely tour guide who always smiles and is willing to do anything for you. He is indeed a very good guide who explains everything to us during our tour and also a very good... More

Supy is a nice, fun and informative guy. I initially booked him for the Borobudur tour and me and my friend decided to book him the next day for a tour around Jogja. He also helped us take lots of fun photos! You don't ever need a tripod when he's around!

Supy was great. The itinerary he suggested was not too busy but yet we saw more than we expected. He is very punctual and talks a lot about history and traditions of Java people. I am surprised people complain about buying pressure. He didn't stop at a single souvenir shop for us. We traveled with 2 young kids and he... More

I contacted Supy after I read the reviews here in TripAdvisor. Supy was very responsive. He gave me an itinerary that I believe was most comprehensive given I was only there for a day and a half. For a two-day tour to see the mandatories (Borobudur at sunset, Prambanan Temple, the Green Temple, Mount Merapi and the Sultans’s Palace), I... More

My husband and I spent 2 days with Supy. Supy and the driver, Mr. Sam, picked us up at the airport, they were on time both early mornings, and the driver returned us to the airport at 4 AM. Mr. Sam is a very safe driver, we never had any concerns for our safety. Supy is very knowledgeable, and arranged... More

I booked a private 1-day tour with Supy in March 2014 to Borobodur and Prambanan, It was just for myself, and there was a driver provided, and Supy. The price was rather high but I needed something with only 24 hrs notice and other top-rated tours were full so I agreed; also I hoped the high price would mean a... More

We contacted Supy the night before by text to book a tour and he proposed us something very classical - Borobodur and Prambanan for an ok price. A driver came to pick us up then drove us of to Borobodur then to Prambanan. No guide included, despite what previous review led us to think. Not that it was an issue... More

Known as the ancient Javanese Kingdom, located at tthe heart of the city (Maliboro St.) is Yogyakarta. Attractions we saw were The Sultan's Palace (a living museum with antiquity), Museum Batik (Wiji Hartons/Kabul) where we witnessed the batik processing. In Borobudur, we came to see the Borobudur Budhist Temple (largest budhist monument in existence). After we watched a cultural dance,... More

A staff in the hotel recommended the driver to me when I told that I haven't arranged anything for my next day tour. Thanks for the hotel staff's help, and he found Galant for me. Galant is a polite and friendly man. He arrived my hotel earlier to pick me up. He can speak much English and tried to explain... More
