It is a museum that tell story briefly about Javanese Mataram Kingdom. The tickets is very cheap for the experience i got in this museum. They will provide a free guide and giving the full explanation to the whole museum. The history explanation is easy to learn and they will give a free drinks in the middle of the journey.

this place is really great if you want to learn history about mataram kingdom and the history of jogjakarta. the guide will also explain the different motif / design of batik for different purposes and meanings. It's a nice tour around the museum where you can learn the history about javanese royals, yogyakarta and surakarta's kings and princesses. Tickets for international and domestic visitors are different. But don't worry, for foreigners, they'll give you an english guide. Japanese also provided, and also some of other languages. I really love this place. This is a private museum and it cost 30.000 rupiah for Indonesian and 50.000 rupiah for foreigner. They provide free tour guide, It took 50 minutes to see all the collection.
