I will reviewed the park around Monas. Never experiencing come here during saturday afternoon. It was very crowded, many visitors, many cadgers that sells any kinds of stuff possible - from foods, clothes, until guitar effects. We brought our 15 mos old son, who is very happy to see the crowd, flying kites, people riding bikes, playing football, every possible... More

Went there to visit with my family. My second visit after over 30 years hiatus...and nothing changed that much :( They did add few dioramas and the place is kept relatively clean and happy volunteers. The complex is quite a walk from crowded and chaotic parking space, I recommend to take the bus to go to the entrance to avoid... More

A famous national Monument in Jakarta, huge open space garden with lots of activities such as small shops selling food, toys, accessories, sunglasses, clothings, bags ... and you can rent a horse carriage that ride you around outside the MONAS and also rent a mini motorcycle to ride around inside the park. Remember to bargain on the price!

It's an obelisk located at Jakarta downtown. There's a sculpture representing fire atop, which is said that's made of gold! It's a pleasant stroll, wooded and clean.

My cousin asked me to go to Monas in Sunday morning. Uh, so crowded there. People did their sport activities or just sight seeing. Nice.

great little informative museum at the base. Nice green park and public open space surrounding the monument. Affordable admission price and some souvineer vendors outside make it kind of fun.
