The views are great. The smells are not good as at some spots. There are people selling souvernirs and food items at the entrance. No fees to enter the park. Worth a visit.

The landmark of Jakarta situated in Merdeka Square. The entrance to the "Monas" is through a underground passage not visible from the ground and hence confusing to tourists.A nominal entrance fee is charged to visit the top of the Monas by a lift. The view of Jakarta from the top of Monas i9s amazing and worth the visit.

The place is quite large but was not looking so attractive from outside. There is not much to see inside the park. It is very hot in the day time.

This monument is crowded with lots of visitors and street Hawkers. We took quick snapshot and left as we found nothing special. However, with good management and cleaning, it might worth a visit.

I went on a weekend and it was real crowded and hot. Nothing amazing here. Skip it unless you are Indonesian and have a strong interest in national history. Then it has more significance.

I walked to the national monument. But except for a tower, there is nothing to mention. The gardens surrounding the place are green and beautiful. In the evening people come for walks, cycling and family time. A lot of street vendors are selling all sorts of food and drink just outside.
