The moment our vehicle enter the main gate, we were conned. We were told that we have to pay rp170,000 for 5 persons including vehicle charges. Checked back on the receipt, we noticed that they only charged rp20,000 for vehicle. 😤 Please do something about this. We had our lunch at Bandar Djakarta Seafood. Food was good but expensive. Brought... More

I visited Dufan, or called as Dunia Fantasi few days ago. This place is consist of 6 area. It is start open from 10.00 (so you need to go early).. If you want to go, come to weekend, but it will be very crowded. To anticipate the long queue, I prefer to recommend to buy the premium ticket. You will... More

We visited Dunia Fantasi along with our 5-year old son. Its a good park which offers rides/activities for varying agess. Our child enjoyed few. Though the park is quite old, the maintenance has been decent. Lack of english at tivket counters and other part makes it a bit confusing for tourists. For informqtion- you have to pay IDR25K per person... More

Took my fiancee to see Dunia Fantasi. Lots of fun attraction for its price, but most rides needs major upgrades. They all look rundown and dirty. It's doesn't seems it has any renovation since I've been there 15 years ago. Nevertheless, it brings back many nostalgic feelings. We recommend to come on weekdays so no need to line up or... More

Ancol Dreamland is a family oriented park. It will be especially interesting for kids as there are several rides including both fast (roller-coasters) and slow rides. The park also has several shows at various times. Not much for the adults though. Worth a visit if you have kids with you.

The theme park is a little old but the rides are fantastic! They recently opened up the ice age ride but something needs to be done about the indoor queueing. It was disorganised, dark and stuffy and there were no staff around to ensure the safety of guest and groups of boys kept pushing to the front and cutting the... More

If you live in Jakarta, for me, this is the best place to find relaxation, and a totally different atmosphere. For me the best place to visit Ancol is on weekdays when it is not to crowded. The beach is nothing compared to the ones you see in Bali or Jogja. But still, it can give you a totally different... More
