I came here many times for various purpose like attending religious event and supporting Indonesia national team. The stadium looks so... More

Went to see Bon Jovi there back in September , Inside was fine for a rock concert . Toilets pretty much the norm for Jakarta or many global rock concerts. Access and exit were not good though as although the are many exits from the stadium itself there are only 4 from the complex. Traffic in the surrounding area was... More

The open space offered by the location is something rare to find in Jakarta. If you are on the vicinity and you would like to exercise a bit, this place... More

Not a great stadium - toilets are poor and the crowd management even worse. The Colosseum in Rome is better.

Gelora Bung Karno is the oldest sport complex and stadium. It was built for Asian Games more than 50 years ago. I heard that President Soekarno designated the complex for sport games, but later the government licensed and used it for commercial, offices and hotels. The stadium is too old and seems lack of management. The public toilet need improvement.... More

This large sports arena has both covered and uncovered areas for many sports including the famous badminton tournaments. I saw a large sumo presentation here .

This is the first ever built stadium in Jakarta. It carries some historical milestones for Indonesia. I think that is why it is named after the first President of the Republic of Indonesia, whom initiated its construction. Football match, political campaign, musical concert, and exhibition are among the few festives the stadium can hold. On every weekend, many sport and... More
