I heard that President Soekarno designated the complex for sport games, but later the government licensed and used it for commercial, offices and hotels. The stadium is too old and seems lack of management. The public toilet need improvement.... More

This is the first ever built stadium in Jakarta. It carries some historical milestones for Indonesia. I think that is why it is named after the first President of the Republic of Indonesia, whom initiated its construction. Football match, political campaign, musical concert, and exhibition are among the few festives the stadium can hold. On every weekend, many sport and... More

It is huge and recommended place for your sport training. Although it is old building but it still look good. Be careful to be lost because it is so huge. I went here because of attending some exhibitions or concerts

Althou damp weather may not be comfortable for walking. Personally, Monday is a good day to enjoy jogging in GBK. Less crowd and you can enjoy trees and... More

Was a lot of fun to go for a run with some friends on a Saturday morning. I was pleasantly surprised that it was so lively with many people doing various activities, such as running, biking, rollerblading, taichi, calisthenics, etc... However, because it has been a while since I last went to GBK, i was reminded of the poor maintenance... More
