Let me start by stating that both the island itself and Java's most western tip are of relatively untouched beauty. Sporadic remnants of the Portugese and Dutch colonisation are reclaimed by jungle greens, and a ruined fortification looks like a set for an Indiana Jones film. There is also wildlife in abundance (we saw Rhinoceros Hornbills quite close above us,... More

We did a 2D/1N cruising tour to TN Ujung Kulon arranged by Ujung Kulon Ecotourism. It was an excellent trip. Everything was properly arranged and our guide was great. The weather during our trip was really good so we can truly enjoy every activities that have been arranged. Boat trip, snorkeling, some peaceful time at Handeleum island, continued with canoeing... Hello, I'm planning to do a tour to Krakatau-Ujung Kulon this August. I've been searching on the net and I've found many companies that offer this tour, but I find it very expensive! I can't find any tour of 3D2N under $500! I really want to do it, but it's not affordable! Does anyone know any company where we can... More

We visited Ujong Kulon with Rhino Eco Tours, it was our second trip with them and both were excellent. We canoed and hiked into the jungle, spotting pythons, monitors and huge day time flying bats - awesome. The small islands are remote and unspoited, the company took us, with guides, into the jungle and along amazing beaches. The safari type... More

We did a 4D/3N tour to Ujung Kulon and Krakatau. The trip was arranged through Apud Saepudin from Krakatau Ujung Kulon Tours. The tour was well run and met up to our expectations. He arranged everything so all we had to do was get on the boat and enjoy ourselves. Lodging, food, guides, camping gear was all provided. Having a... More

I spent several days exploring the park, based out of Taman Jaya. I did a solo (with guide) day trip to a lovely small waterfall for swimming, and a group two-day boat tour to visit some mangroves and stayed on pulang island. If anyone is looking to set up a guide before arriving in Taman Jaya, (or even after arriving)... More

When I joined to the group for 3D trip Ujung Kulon, I was thinking of mainly rain forest that we will be experiencing for the 2 days. But, then I realized that this was a sea trip..!!!! And I was entertained by the bluish of sea and sky..... combined with yellowish if sand and coral.. It was amazing for snorkling.... More

My wife and I recently completed a 4D/3N tour to Krakatau and Ujung Kulon national parks. The trip was arranged through Iman from Ujung Kulon Ecotourism and all aspects of it were professionally organised. We travelled by car from Jakarta to Carita where we met our guide (Digi) and crew before taking a fast boat to Krakatau. Digi is an... More

The long hours driving from Jakarta plus 2 hours boat ride will be paid off once you arrive in Peucang island, the beach is pristine blue, white sand and beautiful corals awaits for you to enjoy. Stay at the guest house, enjoy breakfast with the deers, boars and wild monkey, but be careful those monkeys love to sneak into the... More
