We were heading up to Pemuteran through the centre of the island, our driver suggested we stop at the butterfly park and we are pretty glad we did. There was plenty to see, the park was well run, the staff were excellent and a good experience for us.

Not really famous attraction in Bali as the location is in Tabanan area, I even don't know this place exist until my friend recommend us to visit this place while our road trip to Tabanan. As it name, this park have many kind of butterflies and other insects. To get it, you need to pay for ticket about 35K, and... More

Hands on enclosure, watch them hatch. Hold them. Big and colourful. A lot to see in an hour. Outside the enclosure they fly free.

Nice for an hour or two to visit the butterflies in a massive aviary. Very nice thing to do with the children if you are nearby to the Canggu area. (approx. 30 mins from Canggu Beach area). Great to see the range of butterflies that are native to the island.

I think it is one of the place where we can see different butterflies and moths, from more than 100 species (if we combine all season). You will love this place especially if you like macro photography or if you travel with children. The park does have knowledgeable staffs who can explain about butterfly and moth life cycle and so.... More

Our tour guide suggested we visit here so after travelling some distance we were really disappointed! I no doubt that in in its early days this would have been a beautiful place, but due to needing a lot of maintenance it is no longer not much to see for the $8.50 per person we paid!

This small park was great. I took my mother there and she said it was the highlight of her trip. There was a small area where they had all the new butterflies ( just hatched that day ) and you cold hold them and examine them right up close. Museum at the end was good and nobody pushed you to... Was $8 AUD entry & well worth it, there was some maintenance going on but it didn't interfere with the experience. Loved the gardens & had the opportunity to have some of these beautiful butterflies placed on us for photos...Would do it again in a heartbeat

The ticket to get in is very very expensive $35 USD per person. You can't even take pictures from the outside. Needless to say, there was no one inside when we went. The admission cost is very out of touch with the rest of local prices.
