Like many people who travel to Bali regularly, my family was looking for something completely different on our last visit. So, for our first two nights when we arrived, we stayed at Side By Side Organic Farm. This is a farm which has been set up with the assistance of an American lady, to assist the local villagers. Our two... More

Our family of four stayed three nights at Side By Side Farm. After walking through rice fields, with a clear view of Mt.Agung in the background, we reached a quiet pleasant farm with beautiful bales, fish ponds, livestock, and friendly smiling people. We rested our eyes on green rice fields and colorful flowers everywhere. The smiling farmers greeted us with... More

My adult daughter and I stayed two nights at side by side farm and had a wonderful time. Ketut, the farm manager spoke really good English and was full of information and passionate about the farm and Bali. He was wonderful and was also our driver after our stay and was very knowledgeable and caring. The village children were delightful,... More

We had a fantastic time at Side by side farm in Bali. Ketut, the workers on the farm and the children were all so wonderful. We love Bali and have been there many times but this trip was special because our children (ages eight and 10) got to experience life in rural Bali with the local people. They explored the... More

Our family of 5 visited the farm in October. We all loved it! ! We fished and caught prawns for our dinner, fed the cows and pigs, picked fruit from the trees and made beaded bracelets and necklaces with the local village children. We stayed one night in the house the farm manages in the local village. It was clean... More

The food is fresh, organic and lovely; Ketut our guide and farmer for the farm is a knowledgeable and incredible teacher of many things; he took us to the famous water temple, Tirta Gangga walking through... We visited the farm again for the third time this July. Food is still delicious, farmers friendly and nice people. Cannot think of any better way to get to know everyday life in Bali. You can visit for a day, or stay the night, you'll never forget it, I promise you that much :-) ! Terima kasih to everyone at... More

I went to this farm with 5 other classmates for a service project. I spent 8 days building a pig shelter and I must say, that was an amazing experience. I got to experience how real Bali people live everyday. I got to eat what Bali people eat. They have a very comfortable place to sleep in, they have very... More

We stayed at the farm and worked on a service project building a pig shelter. Ketut guided us to amazing local temples. We ate the most wonderful home-cooked Balinese food including fish and prawns that we caught ourselves. We also visited a local elementary school. An unforgettable experience...
