It is just a clock tower and that is it. You will see it if you go down and use Star Ferry but a special trip is not needed. It is a tall structure with clock faces in it and not much more.

For reasons unknown there are 2 entries on TA for this tower. It is a nice landmark, great for people watching in the evening (lots of wedding photography going on) and fun to check some historical pictures online and then compare with what we have there now. Not a destination in itself, but the whole package of ferry, promenade, skyline,... More

No one would seriously suggest that you would come to HK, or even Kowloon, just to see this but it IS a pretty clock tower ... I have been used to seeing it from across the harbour for the last 20 years and would miss it if it were not there.... You pretty much have to pass it after disembarking... More

You can see it in the photo. That's it. Not worth a special trip. This is a relic from a train station that used to be at this site. Now the trains run from the huge Hung Hom station in Kowloon. You will see this tower when you explore the promenade by the harbour.

Our hotel was across the street, so this tower was very noticeable for us. While walking in the promenade we could take a closer look. It's not spectacular. I wouldn't detour just to check it.

Almost worth a glance on your way past, but not quite. This clock tower certainly has plenty of history and if you really want to make sure you tick off every little monument on the list, then go ahead and wander over for a look. The great injustice of the clock tower is the bell. It used to toll regularly... More

You'll walk past it if you're going on the Tsim Sha Tsui promenade but it's not worth a visit on its own merit. Historical but uninteresting.

Nothing special here. If you don't have much time just skip this place from your itinerary. If you go to star ferry pier from avenue of the star, you will see this clock tower. That's what I did.

We passed the clock at night, all lit up and it looked very impressive. Also it is nice to sit on the edge around this structure at night and enjoy some of the street performers - one particular group of teenage boys were singing Coldplay songs and were doing a good job of it too. It is a lively area... More

The clock tower is a historical landmark in Hong Kong that is located at the end of the Avenue of Starts, next to the Star Ferry Pier in Kowloon. Originally built between 1913-1915 as part of the Kowloon-Canton Railway terminus, the tower is 44 meters tall, topped by a 7 metre high lightening rod and is made of red brick... More
