They say that Melrose, Scotland is where 7's originated...but give me Hong Kong anyday in terms of the atmosphere of 7's. Great rugby, good crowds, plenty of beer, no argie bargie off the pitch everyone just content to watch some fast playing rugby and have a good time. At the end of it all we all go home mates. Good... Walked from causeway bay mtr. directions avaliable at mtr and on the way there. Had the HK390 ticket for Kitchee v MU match. Superb atmosphere when stadium filled under floodlights. Music and announcements volume are decent clear, not extremely loud or soft. Toilets aplenty for both male and females. Went up the "3rd" tier of the stadium. Good Angled View... More

I traveled to HK specially to watch my favourite team, Manchester United, in a pre-season friendly match against HK Kitchee. The pitch was worse than terrible, simply like a deserted beach with debris. We could see sands flying when players ran past the midfield area. The terrible pitch condition was a known thing to everyone and it was reported as... More

Watched Spurs x Sunderland and City x South China there. Paid the most expensive ticket, but it was not worthy. The stadium is really great, but paying the cheapest ticket is the best option, because you can see everything from the most expensive area, just some rows behind and standed up, in a common area.

Came for the sevens, which for all the ballyhoo is about the same hype level as a d1 college football game. Decent stadium which is well fitted with food stalls and toilets. Very efficient security. Hopefully they'll be able to expand the north stand and add another big tele screen. Hope hk can host more sporting events soon.

I expected the stadium called Hong Kong stadium to be MUCH bigger - but its suprisingly intimate and still impressive looking. Sitting in the lower stands make you feel close enough to see the players like they are on tv! you can even lean over the railings and get autographs and handshakes as the players walk pass :) The stadium... Hong Kong stadium was excellent! It can be reached easily by a 15 minute walk from the Causeway Bay MTR station. Access into the ground is a little congested, with only one end of the stadium as an entry/exit point. When I went to the ground, there was a queue a couple of hundred metres long, but it was moving... More
