Even if all you understand about rugby is "run forward, throw backward", if you love a party, you will love the sevens. The happiest weekend in HK's calendar year, rain or shine. People are there to have fun, make new friends, catch up with old ones. There's honour in how excellent your costumes are, or how early you go up... More

The Hong Kong Sevens rugby tournament is one of the anual highlights in HK. The Stadium is beautifully designed with escalators and plenty of food stalls. This event is packed to capacity and the atmosphere is great if not the best of all the other tournaments in the world. Tickets are pricy and food is very expensive for example $14... More

Really well run stadium with all facilities. Food and drink selection is broad, and prices are by no means the most expensive I have encountered in sports grounds around the world. Beautiful setting as well.

Great stadium with good views from all around the stadium, good concession stands and toilets. Easy to walk around the whole stadium.

What a setting, what a atmosphere & great rugby, the south stand is a wonder to behold & if you are brave enough a great place to be, totally enjoyed ourselves & would recommend to anyone with a interest in rugby or just wants a great party atmosphere

A very good stadium indeed, steeply banked terraced seating enabling a good view form wherever you sat. One drawback, the expats teenage children are quite obviously over indulged spoilt brats, however forgetting them (rather easy) a great experience and to be recommended, good facilities, but the stewards barely fulfil anything of a stewards functions allowing people to sit of the... The Hong Kong Rugby Sevens have long carried stories and legends about the party atmosphere and in my experience, it more than lived up to its reputation. However, it was not just the amazing atmosphere and uniting of nations, but the organization of the event that resulted in a fantastic experience. The only drawback was the failure of the ladies... Awesome fun, everyone has to do the HK 7's at least once. Took my family (and they hate normal Rugby) but this is different. 14 minute games 28 nations, fast and furious, riotous crowds, My family loved it and want to go again next year.......damn it!

I've attended the Sevens here in HK for the past ten years and watched an NZ/AUS game here. Here are some hints for the Sevens. If you want to drink beer/alcohol in your seat, you will be in the South Stand. Every year, the South Stand fills earlier and earlier; this year it was full at 0845 on Saturday (before... More
