Tsuen Wan MTR station

I stayed in Hotel Royal View and this hotel was near to Tsuen Wan MTR station. This staion is directly connected to Tsim Tsa Tsui and further Central by a single metro train.

Tsuen Wan is at the final stop of MTR Tsuen Wan line, there is nothing much to see as a tourist. Don't bother wasting your time going unless you need to see a friend or relative who lives in Tsuen Wan.

We have stayed at Panda Hotel (悦来酒店) many years back in our 1st trip to Hong Kong and visiting Tsuen Wan is definitely a trip down memory lane for us. Being the last station of the 荃湾 line it takes about 40 mins journey if one starts from Mong Kok Sta. This is definitely not the typical touristy attraction and... More

This was our daily starting point for the MTR from our (Royal View) hotel shuttle bus drop-off point. There is a supermarket there, a small mall with eateries, even a McDonalds. There's a connecting walkway at the MTR with lots of restaurants and a few ATM's and banks. If you're a tourist, there not a lot on offer, it's more... More

Tsen Wan is a goos location on the metro line. It has a wide range of dining options. For vegeterians there is a Spagethi House in the vicinty that is very good. There are a number of shopping options that are available also. The proximity to the metro is also helpful. cabs and many hotel bus service pick up points... More

Several of my inlaws live in Tsuen Wan, and that's why I happen to know the place fairly well by now. I like it - a stroll through the Hockey Club Tak Wah Park, having hotpot or a good Cantonese meal in one of the restaurants on Sam Pei Square (a good friend of my wife had a French café... More

I always stay here on my visa runs to Hong Kong from mainland China, in the evening there is a good selection of budget priced food and The Shing Mun Valley Park nearby is great way to start your day if you like a stroll.

Not to far from Kowloon is an interesting City full of traditional life amidst the now familiar landscape of high rise accommodation towers. There isn't too many major highlights but added together all the small interests make it a worthwhile trip and particularly the Sam Tung Uk Museum and adjacent gardens. ( see my review on that one ). Take... More

If you are a tourist, don't bother wasting your time here. Just a local area with not much to see. The biggest hotel, Nina, is patronised by mainland tourist. I was there once for a wedding banquet and the staff, the valet man, as well as the hotel, are all third notch.

Me and my wife stayed at Tsuen Wan from 9th to 12th Dec 2012 and on days when we didn’t to the city, we enjoyed exploring the Tsuen Wan Town Centre on foot and blending with the locals in the shopping malls, shops, eateries and at their wet market. Food sampling became the highlight of our stay at Tsuen Wan... More
