Stopped off here on the way home after business trip. Did a little shopping and cam here to watch the light show on the ICC. Excellent view two ways and a very pleasant area to drink outside if weather permits. Unless famished, resist the food. Ordered a pizza and it was clearly frozen.

We went to this bar and restaurant twice on a recent trip to Hong Kong. On our first visit, we had to sit inside as the weather was cold, but on our return visit, we were able to sit outside and watch the lights. The food on both occasions was fresh, of the best quality and presented well. We had... More

Went for pizza and drinks. The hostess greet us telling us that we needed to buy at least one main to sit on tables. We told her we are going to have 2?pizzas and drinks. Pizzas prices areain course prices anyway. The place wasn't full and we are 3 girls. Not peasant looking either. We keep back and forward with... More

Firstly the location is just great. Great variety of international beers. Happy hours during weekdays from 5pm to 8pm. Flat 25% off on all alcoholic drinks including spirits. View is just great. You can watch the evening light show across the harbour.

When visiting family in HK we called into the Red Bar on several occasions the cocktails were amazing but the best thing was the location and friendly atmosphere. Great views great drinks love this bar.

A good venue, but shame about the rather unfriendly - even hostile - reaction upon requesting additional ice. If I'm spending hundreds (HK$€) at the bar, I would expect not to be made the feel like some kind of thief for such a basic request. And don't ask me if it's for a drink I bought outside. What a shame.... More

Met a friend here whilst on a 12 hour stop over, very easy to find with great views of the harbour. Very generous portions of food (gigantic bowls of fries!) but staff not particularly friendly or helpful.

Spent my first night in Hong Kong here - amazing views over Kowloon to be had and even dancing light shows on sky scrapers! Red is outside on the IFC mall and is a vast open area of public seating - you don't have to buy from RED to enjoy sitting here and you can bring your own food and... More

Very nice view to the Harbour and Kowloon. Nice to enjoy drinks outside in the central area. Simpy go up all the escalators in IFC Mall and you'll be there

Go for the smoothie with mint! A great pick me up with amazing views of the city! Very reasonable prices, great to be in the open air with soft sofas and great company!

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
