If only all tourism board staff are as brilliant, fast and efficient as the HK Tourism staff. When I got off the plane from Kuala Lumpur, I was thinking of taking the MTR all the way to Jordan, where our apartment was. Luckily I asked the staff of HKTB and she quickly gave us a faster route which involved taking... More

So happy to help and so happy to direct you in the right direction. Even when we were booking via the tourism board I had one of the workers come over and have general chat. Would come back as soon as we need help in some other area. Made us feel very welcome

I have been to Hong Kong for more than 10X and this is a place I never missed every time. 1st of all, the staffs are all locals. They are well trained and friendly. Not only the staffs at the Booths, but the staffs who response to all my email. I loved all the brochures / Map & etc. Very... More

Having visted Hong Kong a few times I like to make a stop by either the Hong Kong Tourism Board in the old tram at Victoria Peak or one of their other small information centres. In doing this I am usually able to discover something or somewhere that had not seen or experienced on previous visits. I find the staff... More

the staff were exceptionally helpful and there was a wide variety of complimentary brochures available. pity they were not able to supply bus timetables with the various routes. the man who dealt with my query searched my destination on his iPhone, helping me with the bus i needed next but it would be so useful to have a full list,

We went to their center at the Star Ferry Terminal (Tsim Tsa Tsui) on our very first day. We kind of bumped in to this place. One of the staff (maggie) literally helped us plan out the next several days. She had all sorts of information readily available. They all roam around with an I-pad...with instant access to almost any... More

HK takes tourism seriously, and it shows by one simple visit to their office, there is one conveniently located at the Kowloon star ferry terminal. The staffs are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful in providing just about any questions u may have on HK. They have an arrays of brochures and free maps in major languages of the world. They... We took a Cantonese Opera Appreciation class at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum. It was off the beaten touristy track but the 1 1/2 hour journey from Victoria Peak where we were in the morning at Madame Tusssad's to Man Lai Road near Shatin Park - by MTR was worth it. But first, check with the Tourism Board - they... More

This booth is a useful place for picking up some brochures and information as well as Hongkong map as soon as you arrive at the airport. We don’t know what is this for but this service is free of charge and we had some useful advise from the helpful staff on duty at the booth.
