HKTB is certainly better than the Singapore Tourism Board, Taiwan Tourism Board, and Japan National Tourism Organization. While every board can do nice website, map, and brochures, HKTB does the best in running the booths. I never missed walking into the HKTB booths whenever I visited Kong Kong. I have been to HK for more than 10X and I can... More

I had the opportunity to be helped by two Tourism Board facilities on a recent visit. On arrival at the airport for a map, and for info about parks and museums. And on The Peak for info about trails around the area. At both locations, on both locations, the response was exactly to the point, efficient, thorough, and courteous. They... More

If only all tourism board staff are as brilliant, fast and efficient as the HK Tourism staff. When I got off the plane from Kuala Lumpur, I was thinking of taking the MTR all the way to Jordan, where our apartment was. Luckily I asked the staff of HKTB and she quickly gave us a faster route which involved taking... More

So happy to help and so happy to direct you in the right direction. Even when we were booking via the tourism board I had one of the workers come over and have general chat. Would come back as soon as we need help in some other area. Made us feel very welcome

Having visted Hong Kong a few times I like to make a stop by either the Hong Kong Tourism Board in the old tram at Victoria Peak or one of their other small information centres. In doing this I am usually able to discover something or somewhere that had not seen or experienced on previous visits. I find the staff... More

the staff were exceptionally helpful and there was a wide variety of complimentary brochures available. pity they were not able to supply bus timetables with the various routes. the man who dealt with my query searched my destination on his iPhone, helping me with the bus i needed next but it would be so useful to have a full list,

We went to their center at the Star Ferry Terminal (Tsim Tsa Tsui) on our very first day. We kind of bumped in to this place. One of the staff (maggie) literally helped us plan out the next several days. She had all sorts of information readily available. They all roam around with an I-pad...with instant access to almost any... More
