My bf and i had many funny things here. if u want to relax , go here and enjoin. Your feeling will become better
Probably the most unusual racecourse in the world and not to be missed weather your a horse racing fan or not. The atmosphere is electric, bright and noisey and in the most unbelivable setting in the middle of the city on Hong Kong Island. Well worth the $10 HK addmission fee (80p sterling). Plenty of food and drink available. I... More
We went here with friends and made an evening of it, our visit fell on the same weekend as Octoberfest so there was themed entertainment, food and drinks on all night, the racing is excellent with great views of the course, it's easy to get carried away with the bets! i'd recommend going with an allowance and leaving your wallet... I've never really cared about gambling, but this was awesome. A nice beer with some snacks (food was cheap here) on a Wednesday, great fun to watch the race too.
Not a big gambler or horse racing fan but even so this is a great night out. Normally every Wednesday night through the season. Costs very little to get in and the beers are subsidised. Stand on the beer garden lawn and watch the night races against the backdrop of the floodlights and some iconic HK skylines. Put some bets... More
We elected to go to the Wednesday Night Race evening on a night that there were no horses! They hadn't returned from the Arab States apparently! Went to the restaurant and prepaid for a meal which we had heard was a gastronomical delight but at best found it to be an self service buffet with a limited range of western... More
One of the must-do experiences in hong kong. Great fun for a different evening out. We visited with a tour group, and enjoyed the general atmosphere more than anything else at the happy valley racecourse.
Our hotel was just over the road from course we're not racing fans but decided to take a look. It would be easy for any traveller to access by the fabulous subway ... although its a short walk from station its well signposted alternatively you could take a taxi ride. Travellers with passport can acess members stand. ... However we... More
In the time I was lucky enough to live in HK, I did as much as I could in that amazing city. Of all the things I did, the most fun I had was at Happy Valley. It's free to watch, though betting is fun and the jackpots are quite generous. There are multiple races and a tram goes right... More
