Love the vibe of this place. Go early to get a street side seating and the happy hour discounts. One can try out all types of beer - bottled and draught.

Lan Kwai Fong (or LKF as most locals call it) is the most happening place in HK. Its awake whole night, specially during Fridays/Saturdays. Its basically a mid size street with lot of pubs/restaurant. Even if you dont drink, just give a visit during late night to experience the night life in HK. Nice place to hang out with friends.

The place is filed with people and lot of energy on Friday and Saturday and there are lot of options to hang out late in the night across the spectrum. It would be a good place to see and enjoy the night life of Hong Kong.

No matter how many times I've been to HK, and how many times I've said that I'm going to have a quiet night... I always end up here at 1am! A street lined with bars of all different themes and interests!

Hong Kong is a wonderful mix of all nationalities and everyone seems to converge on Lang Kwai Fong for a drink especially on Friday or Saturday night. Very happy atmosphere , no trouble ever and fab place to go at night no matter what age you are. Beware the taxis are cute - and will charge you 3 or 4... More

Loud, busy, full of people, bars, clubs and eateries. LKF is a great place to go on a weekend, especially if the rugby sevens is in town. Centrally located with trams, buses and the metro all close by you wont struggle to get back to your hotel wherever it is. Don't go if you're a shrinking violet!

This is such a fantastic area of town filled with bars. It is so much fun to stroll around the block and bar hop or just people watch!

I've been quite impressed with this place. Great bars and clubs on LKF and in the surrounding areas on the nice sloping streets. Always a good atmosphere, especially on busy Friday nights. Mostly expats, but some locals too. It is damn expensive -- bars will charge you at least HKD50 for a beer -- but you can, if necessary, buy... More

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
