Lan Kwai Fong is somewhere all adults visiting Hong Kong should check out once. it is a group of hundreds of great restaurants and bars and really heats up in the evenings (starting at 10pm). it is busy every day of the week and on weekends and gets really crazy during holidays and especially the Hong Kong Sevens ruby tournament.... If you want to chill after a long, hard day's work, head out to this place and you ll be transported to another world altogether - completely chilled out, people thronging the L shaped street, lining outside bars either side of the road with beers, youngsters letting their hair down like they own the street. It's a fun place with... More

Had heard a lot about Lan Kwai Fong from a lot of friends. The place didn't disappoint me at all, amazing atmosphere and very lively! A must do while you're in Hong Kong! Wonderful clubs & bars, friendly crowd - mix of expats & locals! Would certainly visit again.

Well located in LKF, good music, can chill out outside in front of the bar. Easy stop on a bar crawling night in HK. A bit overpriced but still I'd say worth it.

I had been told Lan Kwai Fong was amazing and i was not disappointed, the bars are awesome, friendly people (good mix of locals and tourists), and so is the party atmosphere. MUST DO if you are in HK. Side note, as you would anywhere in the world... Watch your drink.

The place gets very lively and very very crowded. Alcohol flows easily. Beware of pickpockets and someone mixing stuff into your drink. Hook ups are common. Wyndham Street is close by.

This is my favourite evening hangout during my visits to Hong Kong. Lan Kwai Fong is one of the most lively streets I have come across during my travels. A number of interesting bars and restaurants. With music playing and everyone around having a good time. It is a must visit place in HongKong on weekends. Very conveniently located near... More

Love the vibe of this place. Go early to get a street side seating and the happy hour discounts. One can try out all types of beer - bottled and draught.

Lan Kwai Fong (or LKF as most locals call it) is the most happening place in HK. Its awake whole night, specially during Fridays/Saturdays. Its basically a mid size street with lot of pubs/restaurant. Even if you dont drink, just give a visit during late night to experience the night life in HK. Nice place to hang out with friends.

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
