Your first reaction is going to be ...like...what in the lords name is this...??? A huge cement ship bang in between two rows if residential buildings. It seems as it either the ship has lost its way or the building were constructed in the wrong area.. but after the initial shock and awe wear off, you will realise there is... More

To find a ship in the middle of a city is quite an experience... but we did. While on holiday in Hong Kong, we happened upon this ship that had been converted into a shopping centre with lifts, restaurants, boutiques etc. I was told by a local that this area of Kowloon used to be under water, but the Hong... When you come off the escalators on the 1st floor, there is a restaurant on your right that sells the famous DanDan Noodles. This is an unlikely combination of rich broth with noodles and finely crushed peanuts. I thought it wouldn't work, but it could become addictive! Staff are lovely, too. We went back and the lady welcomed us like... More

We had a hotel close by so we came to the area a couple of times. Basically its a couple of small to medium size shopping malls with some mid range shops, a big supermarket, eateries,... Nice area but not a must see attraction

I lived in Whampoa Garden for around 2 years and I could easily say that this is one of the best place to rent your apartment. Its plus points starts from its proximity to harbour. With just 7-8 min walks you are at harbour either to catch ferry for North Point, Wanchai or Central OR to take a refressing walk... More
