This teahouse is such wonderful place to spend part of an afternoon! My husband and I very much enjoyed our tea tasting hosted by Zowie. She educated us about Chinese tea and now we can't get enough of it!

Until our yesterdays tea workshop we never paid much attention to tea, but this was an amazing experience. Zowie, a Junior Tea Master at MingCha, explained to us a great deal about tea, while showing us how to correctly prepare and experience it. Would recommend to anyone with a bit of spare time in Hong Kong and some gastronomical curiosity.

So there I was, coming back from Ngong Ping on the MTR heading Central Station. My purpose: to reach Victoria Peak on a Saturday afternoon in my last day in Hong Kong. I planned exactly what to do, but with I had this "I am not sure" feeling. It was 2 pm and some colleagues told me about how Victoria... More

We had one day in Hong Kong before flying back to Zurich. While our friends chose to go to the beach, we decided to go to MingCha instead, hoping to stock up on some great tea and learn a thing or two about their green teas and oolongs. We were greeted by the super knowledgeable Tomoko (who grew up in... More

While ordering online can't match the authentic hong Kong excitement of visiting their industrial building, the customer service is still exceptional. Great teas, unpretentious quality and good packaging for unique gifts. Quickly replaced a damaged international shipment. Thanks!

Lots of tea to sample from. I bought gifts for my friends and the loved it. There are many options, and staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They first help me to choose a gift and served me tea. It is easy to find their location once you are out of the subway station. Make sure to check their website... More

My husband and I spent a few hours here during our visit to Hong Kong. Zoe was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. This is well worth a visit!

A short walk from Tai Khoo MTR. The place is in an industrial building itself where you get to use the elevator with fold-able grill door. Greeted by Tomoko (Japanese ? Totally unexpected) who shared her vast knowledge about Chinese tea. Its not just about drinking tea but also learning and appreciating it. Highly recommend to anyone who visit Hong... More
