We create private, personalized walking and food tours that take you to the heart of Asia’s most exciting metropolis. With Little Adventures you'll feel like you're being taken around town personally by a trusted, culturally-savvy friend. We design each tour for you according to the time you have available, and your interests.(Our tours are all private and limited to a maximum of three persons.) We head to back streets, hidden temples, old Chinese neighborhoods. If you're a foodie, get ready to indulge--HongKong has tens of thousands of restaurants and noodle shops, but we've researched and curated the best, and we'll take you straight to fabulous dim sum and dinners (and if you want us to arrange private, guided dinners in HK’s restaurants, our eating concierge service will cut through language barriers and make it easy). Photography, shopping, history, urban architecture..just email us, let us know what you’re interested in doing, and we'll create a Hong Kong experience just for you.Our director and your personal host, Daisann McLane, has unparalleled experience in findingand getting to the heart of the world’s great places. She’s an award winning travel journalist andcolumnist with National Geographic Traveler, and before that she spent six years roaming the world asthe New York Times’ “Frugal Traveler” columnist. Her restless curiosity and desire to share her love and passion for Hong Kong inspired her to start Little Adventures in 2009. « less

We spent a magical morning in the company of Daisann on what was our first visit to Hong Kong. We did the tour on the second day of a five day trip and this really added to our perspective of Hong Kong for the remainder of our trip. From weaving in and out of the fascinating food markets, to gaining... More

My FAVORITE thing to do in Hong Kong is the Little Adventures in Hong Kong tours. We've gone to places that I didn't know existed in Hong Kong - many of them being removed for new buildings and communities, which is the saddest part. The tours are filled with history, culture, food finds, great shopping tips, and great food. I... More

I've done this twice with Daisann, and it's been a treat both times. This is a highly customized and personalized way of discovering Hong Kong. Daisann does a fantastic job in researching & tailoring the itinerary. When I made a vague request to see some Hakka heritage, she went out of her way to scout out villages to visit. Daisann... More

After many trips to Hong Kong, I was certain that I had seen most everything that truly intrigued me in this fabulous city. I was referred by someone in HK to Daisanne Mclane at Little Adventures in Hong Kong--what a fortunate thing that was for me. After brief, but detailed, questions about my wishes, Ms arranged a walking tour that... More
