Owner description: Go beyond tours. Come with us on a private, personal walking and food experience that gets you inside Hong Kong. Walks by professionals, not tour guides. Just three guests, maximum. There's no other company like us in Hong Kong, and we're proud to be recognized by the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Time Out, the Luxe Guide and the Chicago Tribune. If your time in Hong Kong is short, why waste a minute on a cookie-cutter group tour? Get personal, and learn about Hong Kong and what makes it tick from award winning professionals, food and travel journalists. We work with you to design a Hong Kong experience that's perfect for you. If you like culture and history, then it's back streets, hidden temples, old Chinese neighborhoods--even a haunted house! If you love Chinese food, then get ready to indulge, because that's our specialty. Hong Kong has tens of thousands of restaurants and noodle shops, but we've located all the best and we're sharing our secrets with you! (We speak and read Cantonese, so no worries about Chinese-only menus.). Whatever your profession or interest, we can craft a program that will give you the useful information and local intelligence you need to feel at home in Asia's most cosmopolitan city. Our director and your host, Daisann McLane, has unparalleled experience in finding and getting to the heart of the world's great places. She's an award winning travel journalist with National Geographic Traveler, and before that spent six years roaming the world as the New York Times' "Frugal Traveler" columnist. She fell in love with Hong Kong: she wants you to fall in love with this great city, too.

I did a walking tour with Daisann yesterday and was emerged in all of Hong Kong's delights. Everything from the food, the history sites & sounds. My only regret is I didn't do this sooner.

I arranged a Little Adventures tour of Wan Chai and North Point for my boyfriend's birthday. We are expats living in Hong Kong, and were keen to see another side of food in the city. The tour, ably taken by Daniel Cheung, absolutely provided this. They were even able to arrange a small 'foodie gift pack' for my boyfriend. Dan... More

I'm a bit late in writing this review as our visit was in early October, but if you want to get a feel for the history, culture and food in Hong Kong as the locals know it, this is the tour you want. This was our first visit to Hong Kong and we signed up for two excursions, a walking... More

We did 2 fabulous tours with "Little Adventures" during our recent stay in Hong Kong. The walks took us behind the scenes and bustle of the big city and to give us a comprehensive overview of the history, culture, politics and tastes of this fascinating place. Our guides were very professional, knowledgeable, fun and interesting. If you want to get... More

We had the best time with Janice, and I have given your information to a large NYC travel consortium. If you have inquires from Fran or anyone else at Ovation travel it comes from us. We will be back next year and will contact you for more tours. Thanks again Janice!

We walked with Daniel who had great enthusiasm and knowledge for Chinese food and cooking in general. We walked all around a very old neighborhood and tasted all kinds of things. He took us to the places we mentioned we were most interested in. We saw veg markets and fish markets and tasted roasted meats. We had some very good... More

My easily bored husband & I finally found a tour upon which we could agree!! It was an excellent way to experience Hong Kong's culture. Our guide, Daniel was knowledgeable, friendly, & fun to be with. This truly was a great way to discover the "flavor" of this amazing city. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling to... More

My experience with LAHK was excellent. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Being an Australian living in Hong Kong, I already have some knowledge of HK, its food and culture, but, unfortunately, no Cantonese. I booked a tour with LAHK to give me, and some visitors from home, access to the amazing world of local food that a Cantonese speaker... More

We were lucky enough to book a private tour with Daisann. The whole day went perfectly. The food was amazing and we also got to see the city. Her knowledge of the food and different styles was a highlight of our trip. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to gain some knowledge and enjoy all that Hong Kong... More

My travel-mate and I consider ourselves pretty knowledgable foodies (we're Brooklynites, haha), but had little idea where to begin in Hong Kong. After researching EXTENSIVELY online, we decided to go with Little Adventures, because between their website and reviews here it seemed like they really knew their stuff— and they seriously do! We booked 4 hours with them (Daniel was... More
