Walks by professionals, not tour guides. Just three guests, maximum. There's no other company like us in Hong Kong, and we're proud to be recognized by the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Time Out, the Luxe Guide and the Chicago Tribune. If your time in Hong Kong is short, why waste a minute on a cookie-cutter group tour? Get personal, and learn about Hong Kong and what makes it tick from award winning professionals, food and travel journalists. We work with you to design a Hong Kong experience that's perfect for you. If you like culture and history, then it's back streets, hidden temples, old Chinese neighborhoods--even a haunted house! If you love Chinese food, then get ready to indulge, because that's our specialty. Hong Kong has tens of thousands of restaurants and noodle shops, but we've located all the best and we're sharing our secrets with you! (We speak and read Cantonese, so no worries about Chinese-only menus.). Whatever your profession or interest, we can craft a program that will give you the useful information and local intelligence you need to feel at home in Asia's most cosmopolitan city. Our director and your host, Daisann McLane, has unparalleled experience in finding and getting to the heart of the world's great places. She's an award winning travel journalist with National Geographic Traveler, and before that spent six years roaming the world as the New York Times' "Frugal Traveler" columnist. She fell in love with Hong Kong: she wants you to fall in love with this great city, too. « less

The highlight of my recent stay in Hong Kong were the days spent with Johannes Daisann and Daniel. The private tours were perfect as an introduction to the city and were customized to my interests The group tour was exceptional as well we lived the Wan Chai area and the amazing market. All if the guides were so knowledgeable friendly... More

Our tour with Little Adventures in Hong Kong was the highlight of our time there. Daisann, our guide, gave us real insight into Hong Kong and not just into its food, although we believe learning about how people eat is one of the best ways to learn about them and about their hometown. Yes, they can be more expensive that... More

Our tour with Daisann was spectacular. She was so knowledeable and gave us a great insider perspective. We took a walking tour showing us behind the scenes of Hong Kong. Having visited many times on my own, I appreciated seeing parts of the city that were new to me. We made an impromptu stop at a local coffee/snack shop unchanged... More

Our Sheung Wan walk with Little Adventures was fantastically interesting. Our guide knew the fate of different historic building types, and we saw their original sustainable designs, but all within the context of the history, politics, and development of the city. Totally great, and on top of the treats for the mind and eye, the restaurant recommendations were out of... More

My wife and I went on a tour with Daisann recently and we had a great time. In just four short hours, we learned more about Hong Kong than we ever would have exploring on our own. Indeed, I'm fairly certain that my wife and I could have walked down the very same side streets and back alleys, and by... More

We really recommend this tour. Daniel was our guide for the day, and he is nothing short of brilliant. While we were ostensibly on a food tour, Daniel gave us highlights of Hong Kong which we hadn't expected. As well as food (he has a culinary degree), he knows the history, the architecture, and the politics of Hong Kong and... More

A morning with Daisann unearthed treasures of Hong Kong that I wouldn't have been able to find on my own or had the confidence to try. Great food, fascinating history and local culture brought to life by our guide. A truly bespoke tour which was worth the investment.

I booked 2 tours with Diasann while I was in Hong Kong and it was wonderful! The first day we did a foodie tour "Won Ton a Thon"and went to local eateries that I would have never found by myself. We also ran into a store front that hand made bamboo steamers - the only one left on the island.... More

It was my second experience with Little Adventures in HK and i was happy to return. This time i booked the 3 1/2 hours semi-private "Sunday Morning in Wan Chai" tour. I really felt as meeting god old friends. Daisann and Daniel have been great hosts combining lots of insides about HK history and present developments with fantastic street food... More
