Owner description: Go beyond tours. Come with us on a private, personal walking and food experience that gets you inside Hong Kong. Walks by professionals, not tour guides. Just three guests, maximum. There's no other company like us in Hong Kong, and we're proud to be recognized by the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Time Out, the Luxe Guide and the Chicago Tribune. If your time in Hong Kong is short, why waste a minute on a cookie-cutter group tour? Get personal, and learn about Hong Kong and what makes it tick from award winning professionals, food and travel journalists. We work with you to design a Hong Kong experience that's perfect for you. If you like culture and history, then it's back streets, hidden temples, old Chinese neighborhoods--even a haunted house! If you love Chinese food, then get ready to indulge, because that's our specialty. Hong Kong has tens of thousands of restaurants and noodle shops, but we've located all the best and we're sharing our secrets with you! (We speak and read Cantonese, so no worries about Chinese-only menus.). Whatever your profession or interest, we can craft a program that will give you the useful information and local intelligence you need to feel at home in Asia's most cosmopolitan city. Our director and your host, Daisann McLane, has unparalleled experience in finding and getting to the heart of the world's great places. She's an award winning travel journalist with National Geographic Traveler, and before that spent six years roaming the world as the New York Times' "Frugal Traveler" columnist. She fell in love with Hong Kong: she wants you to fall in love with this great city, too.

I wanted to taste the best Hong Kong food so I contacted Little Adventures because they seemed like the best choice for a serious Bay Area foodie like me. I figured the food would be good, but I wasn't prepared for how amazing the experience would be. Daisann and Daniel put together a two-day custom tour for me, hitting both... More

One of the best things to do in any city I visit is to go on some kind of "insider" tour. In HK, my friends and I went on not one but two tours with LAHK; a walkabout around Wan Chai with Daniel and Fanling with Daisann. Although I am Asian and not unfamiliar with street stalls, markets and temples... More

We have been to Hong Kong many times before, and wanted something a bit left-field from the usual tourist "must-see" attractions dictated by guide books and random Internet searches. We stumbled onto this walking tour and after doing a bit of research, plumped for a walking tour of both Wanchai and Fanling. Distant and her fellow guides were absolutely amazing... More

Boring-Had a three person tour with Johannes. Very nice guy but didn't really have much of a plan. Over priced for what we got. Wandered around having him point things out but not giving very much historical context. I think the tour is more geared for people who have never been to Hong Kong and want a very light historical... More

My walking tour with Daisann exceeded all my expectations! She is extremely knowledgeable about the city, guiding me expertly through the streets and back alleys to see the authentic Hong Kong so many visitors overlook. Daisann tailored the experience to my interests, creating the perfect itinerary combining food, culture, and the many hidden charms of old and new neighborhoods. Both... More

I did a walking tour with Daisann yesterday and was emerged in all of Hong Kong's delights. Everything from the food, the history sites & sounds. My only regret is I didn't do this sooner.

I arranged a Little Adventures tour of Wan Chai and North Point for my boyfriend's birthday. We are expats living in Hong Kong, and were keen to see another side of food in the city. The tour, ably taken by Daniel Cheung, absolutely provided this. They were even able to arrange a small 'foodie gift pack' for my boyfriend. Dan... More

I'm a bit late in writing this review as our visit was in early October, but if you want to get a feel for the history, culture and food in Hong Kong as the locals know it, this is the tour you want. This was our first visit to Hong Kong and we signed up for two excursions, a walking... More

We did 2 fabulous tours with "Little Adventures" during our recent stay in Hong Kong. The walks took us behind the scenes and bustle of the big city and to give us a comprehensive overview of the history, culture, politics and tastes of this fascinating place. Our guides were very professional, knowledgeable, fun and interesting. If you want to get... More

We had the best time with Janice, and I have given your information to a large NYC travel consortium. If you have inquires from Fran or anyone else at Ovation travel it comes from us. We will be back next year and will contact you for more tours. Thanks again Janice!
