Description: Go beyond tours. Come with us on a private, personal walking and food...
Go beyond tours. Come with us on a private, personal walking and food experience that gets you inside Hong Kong. Walks by professionals, not tour guides. Just three guests, maximum. There's no other company like us in Hong Kong, and we're proud to be recognized by the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Time Out, the Luxe Guide and the Chicago Tribune. If your time in Hong Kong is short, why waste a minute on a cookie-cutter group tour? Get personal, and learn about Hong Kong and what makes it tick from award winning professionals, food and travel journalists. We work with you to design a Hong Kong experience that's perfect for you. If you like culture and history, then it's back streets, hidden temples, old Chinese neighborhoods--even a haunted house! If you love Chinese food, then get ready to indulge, because that's our specialty. Hong Kong has tens of thousands of restaurants and noodle shops, but we've located all the best and we're sharing our secrets with you! (We speak and read Cantonese, so no worries about Chinese-only menus.). Whatever your profession or interest, we can craft a program that will give you the useful information and local intelligence you need to feel at home in Asia's most cosmopolitan city. Our director and your host, Daisann McLane, has unparalleled experience in finding and getting to the heart of the world's great places. She's an award winning travel journalist with National Geographic Traveler, and before that spent six years roaming the world as the New York Times' "Frugal Traveler" columnist. She fell in love with Hong Kong: she wants you to fall in love with this great city, too.

We organised a last minute walking tour of Central during a very busy time. From the initial briefing where we learnt so many things about Hong Kong that we didn't know. (We were all in Hong Kong for the 3rd or 4th time) Then a few hours exploring some really cool areas, tasting great food and understanding its significance was... More

I had a great tour with Daniel. He was very knowledgeable and we went to a lot of cool places. I found out a lot about the area we went to (Sheung Wan). Every place we went to was pretty fantastic and great tasting. I couldn't have asked for better. The congee place was amazing. It was first on the... More

Had a wonderful tour of the eastern end of HK with a very knowledgeable guide. Sarah pointed out old HK architecture as well as unusual fruits, vegetables and other food stuffs. We even stopped for a herbal tea which helped get rid of my cold

An ultimate food lover's experience. Our tour, conducted by Daniel was excellent. The program was tailored perfectly to our desires by he and Daisann. Communication was detailed via mail; tour was well organized with an insider perspective to the HK food scene and culture.Uncovered areas and food destinations that we wouldn't have realized. A truly enriching experience. Suggested restaurant and... More

I recently spent 6 weeks in HK for work and took two tours with this company; their Sunday Wanchai group walk and a private tour with just my husband and Daisann (the owner). Both were fabulous. Daniel led the group walk in Wanchai and gave us a great overview of the neighborhood, food and people. I did this tour as... More

Discover the best of Hong Kong with this first rate company. We spent a delightful 5 hours meandering through the markets and back alleys with Daisann the owner, a former New Yorker, who speaks fluent Cantonese. It was like being guided through a foreign city in the company of an entertaining and informative friend. No subject was off limits. Though... More

If you are in Hong Kong and enjoy food markets and all things food then this is a must. We had the most amazing and informative time being shown around by Daisann - the history and culture of Cantonese food as well as the opportunity to taste dishes we would never normally have dared to try - a real experience

High praise to Little Adventures! We did two tours- the Won Ton a Thon and toured a local fishing village. Both tours exceeded expectations. The customization and attention to detail really set this company above the rest. Little Adventures truly made our HK experience. Thank You for the memories!! Do yourself a favor and book a tour with Little Adventures!!

We took a private, personalized walking tour that introduced us to the food and culture of HK. It was wonderful. Most importantly it helped us put our vacation visit into context. We did not become HK experts by any means, but it helped us understand what we ate and saw later, and why those things were so special or otherwise... More

If you want to see more, learn more and leave wanting more, Little Adventures is a perfect tour. It is such a privilege to see beyond the surface of the fascinating place that is Hong Kong in the company of a local expert who shares her passionate love affair with this city. Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighborhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
