This ferry is to Taipa rather than to central Macau which is great if you are staying on the Cotai Strip or Coloane. The ferry ride itself was fine and the staff on board wonderful. As we were travelling with elderly parents we went Cotai First Class. The toilets on board were filthy though. We travelled on a public holiday... More

i rode cotaijet from taipa ferry terminal to hongkong macau ferry terminal in hongkong. the cotai jet harbour in taipa worst than macau ferry terminal. Although the interior of cotai jet better than turbo jet,the cotai jet rode more terrible. It felt just like rode a roller coaster. i don't know it was because of the big wave or something... More

If you are staying in any hotel at Cotai Strip then this is best and cheapest option for travel. Other mode of transport is Helicopter which is obviously very very costly. Jet were new but ride was shaky for some time both while going and coming. It takes you upto Taipa terminal of Macau which is very near to Cotai... More

This ferry brings you to Taipa, which is just around the corner from the Cotai Strip. So it is best for those who are staying at hotels around the Cotai Strip such as Venetian, Sheraton etc. It appears to be newer and more comfortable than the other ferry TurboJet, though it seems to be less frequent. From Taipa to reach... More

We took the Cotai Ferry to Taipa because it was convenient for the City of Dreams and the Grand Hyatt. Another review recommended upgrading to First Class, but frankly it's not worth the little extra it costs (about $200 HKD for 3 people). It is a 60-70 minute trip and a fairly smooth ride. We took the economy class on... More

We went from Hong Kong to Taipa on the Cotaijet. We actually got to the terminal too early as we allowed extra time to go through immigration. I had booked the tickets on their web page from home. It was a public holiday and I thought that the ferries would be fully booked. Thought we were in for a long... More

We travelled to macao (taipa) from china ferry terminal (kowloon) using cotai jet it was a good experience. the service was timely and the jet was clean and comfortable. on the return we had the ride from taipa to hong kong airport.. and here we were supposed to get our airline boarding passes at taipa itself... but to our horror... I have motion sickness so I wanted to ensure a smooth trip as much as possible. Spending a little more for seats at First Class was worth it. You're on the 2nd floor, better view and larger seats. Plus, there's complimentary snacks (instant noodle soup & soda). While at berth in HKG, it can get choppy but in Macau, it... More

Those visiting Macau, should keep one thing in mind that Cotai ferries go to Taipa Ferry terminal and not to Macau Ferry Terminal. For those who want to visit only the casinos in Macau, then Cotai ferries are the best. But those like me who were more interested in the seeing the Portugese era in Macau, had to criss cross.... We used CotaiJet on a recent trip to Macau and thought it was time for an update on this ferry boat. Having used the NW First Ferry (operated by TurboJet) and Turbojet ferries recently as well, we still feel the CotaiJet boats are in better (newer) condition than the others, making them slightly better boats to use for your trip...
