Star Ferry is relaxing area with stunning view of Hong Kong island.. Nearby museum, cafe, outdoor musical events (if you are lucky), hall of fame (Bruce Lee statue) are few attractions. Get there any time of day and easy to get there via ferry from Hong Kong island, bus, train (MTR) etc. Just beautiful skyscrapers.

Go on a return trip on the ferry and sit on the upper deck just to get full experience of the sights. On the Hong Kong side, you can always drop over at IFC for shopping/food. Similarly for Tsim Sa Chui, Ocean Terminal has a lot of shopping/food options.

An absolute must - its not nearly long enough but a fabulous little breather from the fast pace. Nice way to cool down and see both sides of the harbour. The cheapest sight seeing ride their is!

An inexpensive and entertaining way to get between Hong Kong Island and Tsim Sha Tsui, As a visitor, you will enjoy the harbour views. If you start on the Tsim Sha Tsui side, you can connect it to your trip to The Peak as the buses are right there to take you to the tram when you disembark on the... More

Taking the Star Ferry across the harbour is one of those a visitor should experience when visiting HK. The skylines on both sides (Kowloon and HK) are amazing any time of the day, but HK island is especially enchanting at night. The cost of the ferry crossing is very good value, the ride relaxing and the view unforgettable.

The cheapest way to travel between the two islands and also a good way to see the skyline up close if you travel from Kowloon to Honk Kong Island. The boats are big and spacious and you can easily carry you luggage with you on board.

The Star Ferry between Tsim Sha Tsui and Hong Kong Island is the simply a 'must do' if you're visiting Hong Kong. I've lived here for 30 years and I still get a thrill every time I cross the harbour on these lovely old boats with their magical names: 'Morning Star', 'Celestial Star', 'Shining Star'. Do the crossing twice, once... More
