Want to get away from the usual tourist path of Kowloon, then Diamond Hill replaces the hectic pace of Nathan Rd. With the exquisite garden of Nan Lian, Chi Lin Nunnery and the older but more local shopping mall, Plaza Hollywood you can start to relax in no time. All are within a short walk of the MTR station so... More

You can get to Diamond Hill by MTR, but the big attraction is not the mall at the top of the station escalators. Walk a little further to Chi Nin Monastery and the associated gardens. The gardens will give you some spectacular calming greenery amongst the busy city of Hong Kong. The monastery will also not disappoint. Immediately you step... More

The Shopping Mall above the MTR station is nothing special. Many shops inside can be found in other districts. I go to Diamond Hill for Chi Nin Monastery and a traditional small shop for noodles.

First of all, please note that there is no diamond there even though the name is called diamond hill. There are 3 places to visit there, namely Nan Lian Garden, Chi Lin Nunnery and Hollywood Plaza. Nan Lian Garden and Chi Lin Nunnery are very beautiful old style building that built not long time ago. Hollywood Plaza is a big... More

What a change in 10-15 years. It was quiet a dump then and health hazard. Nowadays what a change!!!!! Shopping centres, the Nan Lian gardens.

This is really easy to get to via the MTR. Here you will find the Nan Lian gardens and the nunnery. They are very well sign posted so it is extremely easy to find your way around the area. There are quite a few little convenience shops as well. When we first got to the gardens it was just after... More

visit the nunnery and the gardens and you will be in awe of the peace and beauty in such a busy town. This whole area is so nice and once you leave, just stroll around and enjoy the food and life in the area.

Diamond Hill is a great mix of busy streets and stunning nature and parks. Chi Lin Nunnery and Nan Lian Garden are beautiful and it always shocks me how it is so loud and busy just outside and so peaceful and natural inside the nunnery & garden area.

I have lived in Hong Kong for two years and I have seen also everything and diamond hill is one of the best places you can visit while in Hong Kong. The park is very clean and quite, you forget you are in such a busy city. This place in conveniently located next to the MTR station on the green... More
