This is really easy to get to via the MTR. Here you will find the Nan Lian gardens and the nunnery. They are very well sign posted so it is extremely easy to find your way around the area. There are quite a few little convenience shops as well. When we first got to the gardens it was just after... More

visit the nunnery and the gardens and you will be in awe of the peace and beauty in such a busy town. This whole area is so nice and once you leave, just stroll around and enjoy the food and life in the area.

Diamond Hill is a great mix of busy streets and stunning nature and parks. Chi Lin Nunnery and Nan Lian Garden are beautiful and it always shocks me how it is so loud and busy just outside and so peaceful and natural inside the nunnery & garden area.

I have lived in Hong Kong for two years and I have seen also everything and diamond hill is one of the best places you can visit while in Hong Kong. The park is very clean and quite, you forget you are in such a busy city. This place in conveniently located next to the MTR station on the green... More

It is close to diamond hill station, only 5 minutes for waling. It is opposite the nunnery. Btw, this garden has the vegetarian restaurant inside.

Last July 2013, I went with my mom and aunt for a short vacay in HK. It was not part of the itinerary. However, my 2 elderly companions enjoyed as much as I did when we visited the gardens. A refreshing view after the hustle and bustle of city romps. Must see for a change.

It is just as described by travellers - take the MTR going to this place to find Nan Lian and Chi Lin.

As you go out of the MTR Diamond Hill station there are signs to Nan Lian garden. It is a relatively new constructed garden and nunnery, so in my eyes it does not have the same charm as an old place, but nevertheless it is beautiful and worth the trip. The trip may be combined with a stop at the... More

Diamond Hill is an area in north Kowloon and is the location of two of Hong Kong's best (and free) attractions - the Chi Lin Nunnery and Nan Lian Gardens. Both are routinely considered top ten attractions in Hong Kong by Tripadvisor and other travel guide publications for Hong Kong and are worth a visit when coming to Hong Kong.... More
