Having read the reviews, we decided to try the Markets tour (which Jennifer led) and the Story of Hong Kong (which we had Danny as a guide). First, the Markets tour - we were a group of 6 and covered most of Kowloon walking around between the Bird Market, Fish Market, Ladies Market, Jade Market, (and a quick detour to... More

My friends and I went with Danny through the 8 different Kowloon markets and it was a fantastic way to see the Kowloon area. Danny spoke really good English and was very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this tour to others as it covers a lot of ground and gives good insight into the area.

This turned out to be a really good walking tour. Very small group. I learned a little bit about a lot of different things. Danny was friendly and ready to answer questions. He sets you loose to shop at two points on the tour, but with good advice - like when it's appropriate to haggle. We visited a temple, a... More

I lucked into a private tour with Danny last week on the Story of Hong Kong tour. I was looking for a guide to share with me the history of the city, and that's exactly what I got with Danny. Absolutely excellent guide, extremely knowledgeable. Had a great experience and would recommend his tour to anyone.

I did the 8 Markets tour, and enjoyed it a lot, there were different aspects to HK consumerism and shopping habits. Seeing the bird market has a few treats and is fasincating to see men out 'walking' their birds (they bring their caged house birds to communal areas so the birds can socialise). Danny is very enthusiastic, patient, has an... More

Perfect in every way! If you want to discover more than traipsing around Hong Kong alone this is the way to do it! Danny was a brilliant guide providing a compact and comprehensive tour with a little bit of everything. Certainly the best way to start your Hong Kong discovery!

Thoroughly recommend this tour, the flower market and bird market in particular were stunning. Danny is a great young guy, fabulous tour guide, very friendly and informative. This is a 'must' tour when visiting Hong Kong

Me and my girlfriend enjoyed the tour with Danny a lot. We went for the market tour around Kowloon. He shared a lot of interesting information with us - the big historical context as well as the little tipps and hints about customs, food and trade. Furthermore you also always have a little time for yourself to explore each of... More

Really enjoyed this walking tour, a fair bit of walking involved so make sure you have good shoes! Saw a lot of HK Island and our guide Danny was fantastic, he seemed to know everything and had answers to all our questions. Great trip styles to do on any occasion, I was in HK for a work conference and managed... More

We really enjoyed our tour with Danny, it covers both old and new Hong Kong from late 18th century to British occupation and the transition to China, recommend going to the Hong Kong museum the day before the tour as it'll make Danny's commentary more meaningful.
