We combined the Hong Kong Heritage and the Kowloon market tours to give us an all day walk with a traditional Dim Sum lunch in the middle on the recommendation from Gabi. This turned out to be a great day and introduction to Hong Kong. Gabi met us at our apartment and took us through the streets of Hong Kong... More

As part of a Hong Kong Island Highlights Tour, I visited the much acclaimed Stanley Market. A popular outdoor shopping market where " good bargains " can be negociated. It was more like a " flea market " with really bad tourist items and lots of haggling ! Fake designer anything you like and not very good fakes at that.... More

We did new territories heritage with Dave. Booking this tour went unusually well, so much so that I couldn’t help suspect it might be too good to be true and we would take the train out only to meet no one, but when we got there it was easy to spot the older, tall white guy in the parking lot... After scanning the skyline of Hong Kong from my hotel room window hoping for a day of fair weather after a night of downpours I set out to meet the tour leader of the day long Lamma island tour Martin at the general post office and arriving fashionably early got to meet another few tour participants before his arrival. I'd... More

The tour guide was very knowledgeable who did not only introduce the places, but the historical and cultural background of HK which I found it very interesting. You will definately get to understand more about the livelihood of HongKonger behind the skyscrapers and shopping malls. A meaningful tour that I would definitely recommend for both tourist and local people. I... More

Many thanks to the Walk Hong Kong team for making my first afternoon in Hong Kong a really great experience. Many thanks to both Martin and Jasmine who were fantastic in passing on some great info along the route. It made the rest of my brief stay in this wonderful city all the more enjoyable. I was interested in booking a tour to Stanley Internment Camp and right from the beginning Walk Hong Kong was extremely accommodating about scheduling it. The tour turned out to be an unforgettable visit to Stanley. Martin Heyes had amazing stories to tell that bought the history of the area to life. It was quite moving to walk around the... More

I went to Stanley with Martin to visit the area of Stanley Internment Camp (1941-1945). The tour lasted about 4 hours. His knowledge of WW2 in Hong Kong and the Internment Camp is extensive. Martin has a great way of giving details of life during the internment and putting it all in a bigger WW2 context. I can highly recommend... More

We have lived in Hong Kong for 2 years but never made it to the Geo Park in Sai Kung. We had family in town and thought it would be a great opportunity to get out there and tick it off the list - only thing that was stopping us was me being 8 months pregnant and not in an... More

We did the Wongneichung Gap tour and our tour guide, Martin, was an excellent source of information. Really enjoyed the tour and the sights. Martin was very knowledgeable (the fact that he has been in Hong Kong for 40 years helps). The tour lasted about 3.5-4 hours and it was real good fun. We had originally booked a second tour,...
