I was interested in booking a tour to Stanley Internment Camp and right from the beginning Walk Hong Kong was extremely accommodating about scheduling it. The tour turned out to be an unforgettable visit to Stanley. Martin Heyes had amazing stories to tell that bought the history of the area to life. It was quite moving to walk around the... More

I went to Stanley with Martin to visit the area of Stanley Internment Camp (1941-1945). The tour lasted about 4 hours. His knowledge of WW2 in Hong Kong and the Internment Camp is extensive. Martin has a great way of giving details of life during the internment and putting it all in a bigger WW2 context. I can highly recommend... More

We have lived in Hong Kong for 2 years but never made it to the Geo Park in Sai Kung. We had family in town and thought it would be a great opportunity to get out there and tick it off the list - only thing that was stopping us was me being 8 months pregnant and not in an... More

We did the Wongneichung Gap tour and our tour guide, Martin, was an excellent source of information. Really enjoyed the tour and the sights. Martin was very knowledgeable (the fact that he has been in Hong Kong for 40 years helps). The tour lasted about 3.5-4 hours and it was real good fun. We had originally booked a second tour,... I was in Hong Kong for only a few days and having never been to the country before and also being keen to take photos while learning some of the history, I contacted Walk Hong Kong and arranged to have a sight-seeing tour with Martin Heyes. His local knowledge is matched only by his enthusiasm for sharing it! We saw... More

My wife researched and made the decision to book three days with this company. We were NOT disappointed. Every walking tour was fascinating and well-paced. We were always looked after by our guides (❗️👍thank you Martin, Claudia and David). We will be back!

We enjoyed our hiking experience with Jasmine. We booked a half day private tour for Dragon's back walk. We saw different Hong-Kong! Beautiful nature, wild orchids, egg flower's trees, waterfalls, hidden paths, spectacular views, Shek O Country park and beach and South China sea. The water was very warm, we could have swim there. Easy access by bus from subway... More

I visit Hong Kong on a semi-regular basis and have done several trips with the walk Hong Kong team all of which I have hugely enjoyed. The Dragon's Back is a great starting point to see Hong Kong from a very different perspective. My most recent trip was the 'Deserted Beaches' with Martin which I took my parents on. This... More

We did a full day deserted beaches walk which was beyond expectation. It is hard to believe you can be in such spectacular scenery when you meet in the middle of Central. We also did the WW2 walk. Both walks were with Martin Heyes, whose knowledge (particularly around WW2) was fantastic. My Grandad was involved in the war in Hong... More

We had the experience of a lifetime with Walk Hong Kong. Two days with Martin, in the markets and up on the peak. Out with Claudia on the Desereted Beaches, and in the New Terroritories with David. The team knows their stuff! We covered diverse geography and history in all our walks. If we had tried to create these walks... More
