One of the great things about Hong Kong is that nature isn't too far off from the bustling city. Rather than those glorified stair master challenges you sometimes find on the outskirts of cities, there are genuine dirt trails around Hong Kong although they can be a bit difficult to find and navigate without assistance. I signed up for a... More

Now Hong Kong is famed for views of it's illuminated harbour front, and peak panoramas. However for those of you, like myself who search for something a little different, Walk Hong Kong offers just the ticket. With a range of urban walks exploring beaches to battlefields, with a private guide or in a small group, you really can get off... More

I recently had the opportunity to visit Hong Kong where my grandfather was a prisoner at Stanley internment camp during the second world war. This was a unique opportunity to walk the grounds where my grandfather was interned for nearly 5 years, and to learn more about the history of the camp so I signed up for a private tour... More

Thank you very much for a very lovely day at Lamma Island. It was very nice to escape from the noisy city for a while. The hike was absolutely wonderful and the guiding likewise. This is the best memory for me to carry home of Hong Kong.

The Lamma Island hike operated by Walk Hong Kong was an awesome way to see the part of Hong Kong that people don't normally get to see. Great views, local culture, and a knowledgable tour guide made this tour great. Definitely would recommend it to anyone who is visiting the city.

I recently had the opportunity to travel to Hong Kong on business. Being a student of military history, the trip presented a unique opportunity to explore some of the local Second World War battlefield sites. With the help of a colleague, I was put in touch with the folks at Walk Hong Kong. Right from the outset, I was impressed... More

Already the booking left a good impression, my availability was limited but the Walk HK team helped in a very accommodating way. I joined the "Deserted Beaches Hike" in Sai Kung, which I warmly recommend to anyone who would like to see that HK does consists of more than a concrete jungle. We visited real forests, beautiful beaches, red crabs,... More

We recently returned from Hong Kong where we went on a Kowloon Markets Walk and a Feng Sui Temple Tour. Susan led us through both walks. She was personable and flexible and tried to make sure we saw and learned ( and tasted) all the great things about Hong Kong. Both walks were informative and interesting and by the end... More

We went on the Ma on Shan hike with our tour guide Jasmine. She was very knowledgeable and helpful and gave us a lot of insight about the area on our way up. We stopped by an abandoned village, which was just mind boggling in an area with such a high concentration of people. Truly fascinating. This was our favorite... More

My guide was Mr. Martin Heyes, and he, as well as the tour, was excellent. For anyone who enjoys history, this is a wonderful walk and Martin was terrific, particularly since he is a former British Army officer and a former Chief Inspector from the Hong Kong Police department. He was able to provide a complete depiction of the events... More
