The train trip does take a while to get here but I feel it is worth it. Great shopping and food options on multiple levels. Can be very crowded at the lower level near the entrance to Shatin station. Awesome chance for peole watching. Good place to meet new people as well. A couple of reasonable cafes as well. Very... More

Excellent place you can get everything you want and the crowds make you feel that you are in the city centre though this palace is on the outskirts

big mall and one with the highest visitor count in HK due to its proximity to shatin train station. I visit quite often but I don't normally buy things here. service is mostly bad in almost all shops including chain stores, too many tourists with carry-on and no one bothers to get in line. chaotic and mostly bad experience with... I normally hate shopping malls, but found this one very enjoyable. Of course, if you want to go away from the international brands, you should go to more authentic markets such as the streets between Hennessey and Johnston roads on the Island.

Come here if you love fashion and branded things, a lot of the big internationally recognised brands have shops here. You can also come here to enjoy the air con if you are a foreigner and sit down to some food, tea/coffee. I personally like to stay in shopping malls because they are much cooler than being outside in the... More

One mall where i came across all the best brands for children! this was situated right opposite to our hotel and i freaked out. prices seems expensive but i personally feel they are competitive! anywhere you can find these brands ( Armani Jr, Teddy smith etc..) will mostly be with the same price tags. some sales were really good...GAP had... This is a pretty big mall and there is also a snoppy playground and a short river ride( need to spend a certain amount at the mall) to play though. There is a Supermarket as is many restaurants

New Town Plaza is a big air-conditioned shopping complex selling a variety of consumer goods and appliances. Also, there are many many restaurant including a Michelin star rated restaurant. Inside the NTP, there are also Snoopy World on 4/F and a musical fountain on 7/F. The transportation to the NTP is convenient as it is 1 minute walk to the... More

Compared to many other shopping malls in hk, New town plaza is a wasted day. It csts a lot to get to and it's very boring, old person shops not a good place to go.

We used the MTR to get to NTP from Sheung Wan on the Island that involved a couple of changes to get onto the East Rail Line to Sha Tin. Not hard and fairly straightforward and takes around 30 mins from the island give or take – less from Kowloon. Follow the signs and the crowd from the MRT station... More
