Very interesting place. Easily accessible, rich in history, nice architecture. The Christmas decoration is up now, a good photo stop.

Wow! Ok, so you may not be shopping at Tiffanys or Phillipe Patek but 1881 is an undeniably beautiful area to wander round. Sympathetically restored the former Marine Police HQ is best seen (imho) at night. Don't be afraid to wander round either. There's a time ball tower, signal gun, signal flag etc and you can go right up to... More

The restaurants inside are excellent! You can enjoy the whiskey, Chinese food, wine, Italian food. Sometimes there is a flee market selling local food. Just walking around and take photos in such a comfortable place is a great experience. Especially when you are being tired of shopping in Tsim Sha Tsui. Have a walk and rest there. Hong Kong is... This building looks grand and is perfect for pictures. I think the front display changes every year (?). Not sure but last time we went there, it was decorated with shrubs shaped into different objects and animals. Now the theme is gold teacups.

We stayed at the Salisbury YMCA across the street and walked over here one night in search of a cocktail because our hotel did not have a bar. We ended up sitting outside at the cafe on the third level where they had a craft cocktail menu. They weren't cheap at 100HKG, but they were delicious. Highly recommend the cocktail... More

It's located next to Peninsula Hotel on Tsim Sa Tsui area. I'd recommend to visit during evening time onward as its really chill and you can enjoy walking around. This is the arcade which there are many nice restaurants including hi end brand stuffs for shopping selection. The building has a very incredible structure and good for photo shooting.
