if you have the time to go up the mountain, then do it! its is really beautiful, the air is clean and the park is great. Also if the fog is not to dense you have a fantastic viewpoint from the Golden Eagle to the city.

this is beautiful in spring when the flowers are blooming with sunny weather... there are so many people selling cherry blossoms and peach blossoms stalks in front of the Botanic Gardens... so colorful just be careful of the trip back down as you will not be able to get a taxi.

This place is excellent! Worth the 30 minute ride up the hill. Spend the day there though, or at least half of it. It is beautiful.

This trip was really worth it. Never have we seen such a huge botanical garden so welll managed. We will go there again next trip. Great fod jogging!

This is worth the trip up the mountain! Especially during cherry blossom season. We went there on a weekend, and it was crowded, but it was well worth it. There is also a greenhouse with a great collection of cactus. The gardens are all set on the side of Nanshan Mountain, overlooking Chonging. Very nice experience.

It was lovely even in the rain we went to a Chinese Tea Ceremony which was lovely. Our only low point was the toilet facilities in the park where very poor.

In spring it is at its best. But the garden is a little bit difficult to reach in this period, while there is only a long, not so wide road that leads you there, while a great number of Chongqing inhabitants also want to pay a visit.
