Great aquarium

Beautiful aquarium, well laid out and with a wide variety of animals. Only down side is that it is rather expensive

You need to be ready to see the best Aquarium in China, it is huge and you can see many types of everything on the sea, you need to pay a fee but it worth it. ( 2009)

Out of all the animal encounters I have had in Beijing this has been my favourite. The animals are looked after and don't seem to be in distress. For China you couldn't as for more.

Really great place to visit with kids! Modern, well constructed and nice. A bit expensive, but after visit the feeling was worth of visit! We've seen many aquariums all over the world, but this is really in top 3!

Beijing Aquarium is one of the biggest aquarium's I have seen so far. Topped by the one in Monterey, but otherwise I don't remember a bigger one. I've been there several times, mostly with my daughter. They have more or less everything you would expect from an aquarium and also their dolphin show is certainly worth to see. Btw. it's... More

Great place to spend with the kids. We loved the stingrays and the reef sharks. At ¥150.00 it is worth the higher than normal pricing

I wasn't really impressed by this aquarium, especially paying an extra ticket, which was probably the most expensive ticket I've paid in Beijing!! I've seen similar aquaria with a cheaper ticket, or even free of charge. The place is cool for kids, as it is designed in a way that they are impressed. It was too noisy though and full... More

Looks like a pretty decent and new aquarium but after 10 minutes of fighting the crowds and getting a headache from constant noise, aided and abetted by loud music and amplified Beluga whale screams, I was ready to leave. Was 9 am on a Sunday, so perhaps weekdays better.

After Panda House, visited Aquarium. Our guide Lee went for tickets and after 15 min. came to get our passports for foreigners check. Very crowded. Huge variety of fishes and other animals. Wonderful seal show but was about to finish. Many things to buy. It's really great place.

The aquarium is located at the back of Beijing zoo. You must pay the entrance to the zoo (40 CNY at time of visit), walk through the zoo then pay a separate entrance fee to the aquarium (150 CNY). The aquarium is a relatively new building so all the exhibits are modern and visually appealing. They have everything from small... More
