I am 40 but felt like kid. It was a good decision to go there as it's BIG in Chinese meaning but this time it means something really big. Worth to go there no matter how old are you.

I visited the Aquarium in 2005 and had great experience over there. It was not crowded. Recommend to everyone if you have extra time in Beijing, beside visiting

The ticket is RMB 120 per adult as per August 2014. Kids under 1.2 meters are free, otherwise the ticket will be cheaper. They have a fantastic collection of fish! Some of them are amazingly huge! The building is clean, not sure about the restrooms. I didn't dare to go. Avoid going in Summer, where there are lots of local... More

The ticket was 120 rmb a pop. its cheaper for senior citizens and students. children under 1.2 Meters are free if an adult is with them. The aquarium is great. but its a bit confusing and easy to get lost and miss some places. study the map well before embarking on a path. Important: Please get info about the shows... More

The aquarium is inside the Zoo grounds. It's really good inside but pricey compared to all the other Beijing attractions. There's some nice exhibits inside so it's worth a visit.

Beijing Aquarium was a great visit! Lots of things to see, but we especially enjoyed the Beluga Whales. Unfortunately as it is china there is an opportunity to make you pay for a photo next to the glass, but apart from that it was great to see them. The aquarium also had a lot of great marine life, although we... More

My children love to see the marine life. Big aquarium with beautiful garden and compound. Easy to get there and a walking distance from the Beijing Zoo.

We did not know that the aquarium was part of the zoo and were very excited it was! This was the highlight of our day visiting the aquarium. The exhibits are great and they have a great dolphin show. The fish were plentiful to look at and we had a great time.

The aquarium is located within the zoo, so price of the ticket includes admission to the zoo as well as the aquarium. It is easily accessible by subway line 4, stop at Beijing zoo station. Subway ticket cost rmb2 one way. Try not to visit the zoo during summer as it's scorching hot and most of the animals are hidden,... More
