If only they didn't smoke everywhere and they had clean toilets ....... this place would get 5 stars instead of 4. We had a good time browsing all morning. Be aware if you do buy anything that they are most likely fakes, and you need to bargain very hard. More

Living in Beijing 14 years ago this place was full of curiosities and collectables. Now it all seems the same and not really any bargains to be had. More

My family took a taxi here the first day in Beijing, a Sunday, with a friend who was fluent in Mandarin. Certainly having a... More

It opens very early at 5 a.m. There are different sections and rows of stalls to explore in this covered outdoor market. One row... More

Flea market is available Monday thru Friday now. Some antique items but vendor priced the items very high. It's still worth the visit for a look. More

The Dirt Market was the very first experience of Beijing we had the day after we arrived. It was fantastic, very dirty of course, we browsed for about 2 hours to see what they had to offer, mostly craft items, porcelains, brass incense burners, bone carved opium pipes, wooden boxes, pearls, Mao clocks, brass gongs, pretty much any thing and...
