I booked the 'Essential Beijing tour' with Grayline Tours, which included the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Badaling Great Wall. Our tour guide was friendly, and knew what he was talking about. He also provided us with local information that could help us during our stay in Beijing, such as the do's and don't's, and where else we... More

We took 2 tours with Grayline that we organized through the Kerry Center hotel. The first was the Essential Beijing tour covering to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Badaling Great Wall. The tour guide was good and we did enjoy most of the tour, except when we were taken to Yuanhou Silk, the Longdi Jade Factory and Dr... More

I didn't read reviews of Grayline Beijing before we booked . If I had read i doubt I would have gone but the tour turned out to be fun. Booked the tour through Hilton Wangfujing. Paid 470 rmb per person. We booked it because it brought us to Mutianyu Great Wall which is about 85 km from the city n... More

This was booked through our hotel, The Hilton Wangfujing £180 for 2 adults to see the Great Wall of China - plus added extras! The tour guide was nice enough, David I think, he didn't give us much history of China, talked more about the cars.... The Great wall was worth seeing but on the way back we stopped at... More

DONOT USE THIS COMPANY...this is my evaluation of the Hutong Pedicab tour - it's billed as a pedicab tour...I was in the pedicab for maybe 5 minutes and the driver asked me if I could walk, so we walked around the neighborhood. Later the cab was called back we were in it again maybe 5 minutes and he told me... More

Grayline is a well known brand in the tourism industry and I booked my tours blindly while in beijing. I don't think Grayline Beijing is actually run by Grayline. What i booked was a private tour turned out to be a Mini bus Tour. Our Guide started having political & personal conversations which made me highly nervous. As is the... More

I went on the full day tour to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. The trip is listed in the Gray Line brochure. Here are the details of the trips and my feedback. In short Gray Lines owns all the stops you go to. Its the largest tourist trap I have ever seen. Included: Visit to the Stone Place:... More

My family and I had thought that by spending a bit more money than average on a tour, we'd be getting a great experience - we were never so wrong. The brochure looked great from an initial read: Great Wall, Ming tombs, exterior of Olympic Stadium. Reality? 1 hour at the Great Wall, not even going to the one opened... More
