Our satisfied clients have included over 11,500 people from 55 countries. Initially established as solely a Great Wall trekking organization for backpackers, our success and drive has lead to us expanding operation to include all angles of China exploration, from cruises on the Yangtze, hiking in Tibet, exploring the tropics of Yunnan, and all the other great pursuits to be had. In 2001, Great Wall Adventure Club was acquired and renamed as Great Wall Adventure Club & Company by NACI Group, a multi-national communication service and marketing company based in Canada. The acquisition has allowed Great Wall Adventure Club to greatly expand and increase our base of operations to including hotel accommodation, domestic transportation and sightseeing. This has resulted in being able to even better satisfy our traveler’s wants and wishes, and thus has contributed to China’s growing prominence in the tourism field. Our growing success has also allowed us to partner with other travel agencies such as eLong, in order to assure our guests have the best in accommodation and airfare. This allows our clients to concentrate on getting the most out of their China experience without having to stress and worry over the details. In 2010, the Great Wall Adventure Club became a division of China Overseas International Travel Ltd., a Beijing-based China travel services giant. « less

My father and I recently took two private tours through Great Wall Hiking -- one of Beijing and one of the Great Wall (Beijing Tour GWA-BJ-102; Great Wall Route 1B). As a threshold matter, the company's staff was professional, responsive via e-mail, and accommodated us on short notice. It really was a pleasure to deal with the company's personnel (office... More

We first contacted GWAC about 2 months prior to our visit. We booked tour 1B, a half day hike from Jiankou to Mutianyu. Lucy replied to all of our emails promptly and arranged for Connie to be our guide as we requested. Lucy also advised us to contact Connie via cell phone when we arrived in Beijing just to confirm... We were a little concerned when it came to booking a guide over the internet (particularly with so few solid reviews in English), but we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. We submitted a request online four days before we wanted to go on the hike. The responses were prompt, and we were able to arrange the tour within a... More

I recently took two trips to China. Shanghai in September of '2010 and Beijing in May of 2011. While researching services in China I came across this company and it looked interesting. When the travel service in my hometown messed up all the arrangements for a trip to the World Expo in Shanghai, this company had many helpful suggestions to... More

The Great Wall Adventure Club was great, handling our hotel reservations and arranging our guides to meet us at the airport. The guides that helped us in Beijing and Xi'an were friendly, knowledgable and made every effort to help us have a wonderful visit. We especially enjoyed the hiking on the Great Wall, which is the reason why we chose... More

Going on the Mutianyu Bus Tour A2 definitely made my trip to Beijing memorable. If you are short on time, this is the best value trip for the quality of service! You can't go wrong. This company offers very intimate mini-van service so each tour won't have more than 10 people. There is a separate drive and tour guide for... More

We recently visited Beijing and, after a lot of research on the Internet, decided to book a two-day tour with Great Wall Adventure Club. I couldn't have been more pleased with my decision. This organization is extremely professional and dependable. Our guide was Connie, who was wonderful. I have two kids (12 & 8) and both grew really attached to... More

My daughter and I called The Great Wall Adventure Club to schedule a driver to take us to the Mutianyu section of the wall in order to avoid the crowds of Badaling. They threw in a English speaking guide as well and we were thrilled. After a delightful day with a great guide, we found out that the person who... More

I did the hike between Jinshanling and Simatai in early December and it was a great experience. It was a very cold day but it was not raining or snowing. If given the chance, I would probably do the hike again. However, I will not choose the same tour guide. I chose this group base on one review I found... More
