We live in Beijing almost 10 years and had 2 friends over from Europe. Bike Beijing offered us to show our friends around the old Beijing including all famous sites near the forbidden city and hutongs to the north (Hou Hai Area). Bike Beijing could even accomodate our 4 - year old on a tug-along bike that was connected to... More

This half day guided bike tour through the Hutongs was one of the highlights of our trip to Beijing. It was a mellow excursion into residential life in this mega city. What a contrast to the magnitude of public spaces and buildings in Beijing. Our guide Sandy was super friendly, spoke English really well and shared with us the right... More

There were only 2 of us on the Hutong tour but we saw a part of Beijing that tourists would never find and all so close to the centre. The quiet little alleyways were perfect for cycling and even when we were taken to Tianenman Square it didn't feel scary. The guide (Sandy) was very good and took lots of... More

I live in Beijing and this is one of my favorite ways to introduce visitors to the city. Cycling through the streets is a completely different experience than viewing the sights through a car window. And cycling is much faster than walking the same route. I highly recommend it! This tour also gives you a great feel for how the... More

I did three separate tours one day after another on my 5 days in Beijing and I really can't imagine having spent those three days in any better way. I did two tours around Beijing and saw all the main spots and then another tour to the Great Wall. The speed and distance of cycling is not huge and would... More

We did the full day tour and despite being almost impossible to find since even locals don't know street names, Bike Beijing was the best thing we did in China. Our guide, Hiro, was absolutely brilliant and spoke perfect English, humour included! At first, cycling in Beijing is quite scary, but once you get the hang of ringing your bell... More

My wife and I wanted to get a good flavour of Beijing without being stuck in traffic - so we decided to take to 2 wheels to do it. Our taxi driver struggled to find Bike Beijing but when he did our guide, Sean, was ready and waiting for us. He wasted no time in getting us on our way... More

We did the full day cycle/walking tour of Beijing and it was just excellent. It was a great way to be guided around the sites at the same time as seeing the backstreets and hutongs. Cycling across 12 lanes of traffic diagonally in front of Tiananmen Square will stay in my memory for a long time! I would recommend this... More

My husband and I booked this guided 3 hour night biking tour in late September '13. It wasn't cheap. When we arrived at the start point we discovered we were the only people on the tour which was puzzling as September is a peak tourist month in Beijing. Did other tourist know something we didn't? I asked to have a... More
