If you are comfortable on a bike this is a really great way to see parts of Beijing you are not going to find on your own. Beijing is flat but (obviously) crowded. The BB staff is excellent and the guide (Hero) was very knowledgeable. More

My partner and I did the half day Hutong tour. It took only 3 hours to cycle around and we got to pass through Tiananmen Square.
