On Sinorama tour and on the century river cruise. The scenery was so beautiful. Our boat had balconies so my husband and I loved sitting out and watching the hills go by and seeing so many river boats and people and animals.

The Yangtze Three Gorges, one of the ten most famous tour sites of China, proudly stands at the top of the best 40 in China’s hottest scenic spots. Meanwhile, it also enjoys the reputation for one of the best 35 China’s king scenic spots and 16 special touringroutes. Your steps into Yichang will take you to the greatest paintings of the elegant Three Gorges gallery. Though the Three Gorges Project reservoir began reserve water, the three gorges stand still with their elegance and verve. The Xiling Gorge is still deep and serene; the Wu Gorge is still beautiful; while the Qutang Gorge is still steep and magnificent. At the same time, the new Three Gorges bring you infinite new views. New sceneries created by the reservoir will add extra mysteries to you and make your trip rich and colorful. It is a very nice place.

The tour itin, optional tours and on board amenities/activities were well managed. Do take the optional tours as they are the highlights of the cruise as the scenic beauty of these side trips is even more stunning in comparison with the already spectacular scenery enroute. As a FIT (Free and Independent Traveller), I made the cruise booking through the Manager... More

Recently stayed on the Yangtze Gold 7 for 4 nights as part of a Wendy Wu Tour. Although the ship is only some 18 months old the carpets in many places look like 18 years old. Perhaps the concept of spot cleaning or even general carpet cleaning has not reached the Yangtze yet. That is a shame as the rest... More

Whilst we have nothing but praise for SNA tours and our itinerary for the first 10 days of our amazing China trip the same cannot be said of Yangtze Gold 7, the river boat to which we transferred for the last 4 days and a cruise along the Three Gorges Project. The gorges are spectacular and the optional excursions offer... More

The 3 main gorges are fantastic and worth seeing. the 3 day journey down the Yangtze River is relaxing. The crusie shiop, Gold 6 is big and luxurious. But the food is not up to the mark. This is probably my only complaint. As the water level in the dam was high, we need not expereince the journey through the... More

We went on the Yangtze Gold Seven as part of our 11 day tour with China Odyssey. The transfer from Chonquing was a bit awkward as we were only told after we arrived after a long day of travel that we could not board the cruise ship and we had to take a further two hour bus ride to Fengdu.... More

Yangtze gold 6 Our travel agent booked the Gold 6. We were told this is the newest and most luxurious of the river boats. The G 6 caters mainly to Chinese tourist. As a result virtually all information is in Chinese. While 1 or 2 crew speak English none are proficient. Communication is extremely difficult even for the simplest of... More

Visited Last May. Perfect weather - 7 day cruise. The three gorges were spectacular! Absolutely spellbindingly beautiful. We had gone through smog choked Chongquing and spent an awful day there. We moved onto the gorges and they made the trip. Breathtaking mountains rising from the shore of the river - some were forested - others were sharp peaks - there... More

We went on a President and cruise have to say while the cruise was pleasant and relaxing the excessive high pressure sales pitches to upgrade to better cabins, better dining rooms etc was annoying and such a rip off. The more interesting trips were add ons so everything was about getting more money out of you. If you did not... More
