We made the long drive from the northern Serengeti to central catch the balloon safari at dawn on October 12th, 2015. Our pilot Nihat was so cool with his aviators and had the utmost control of the balloon which was a tad unnerving in the beginning. But the entire trip played out exactly as he said it would confirming his... More

An amazing experience, flying over central Serengeti at dawn for an hour and afterwards enjoying a champagne breakfast in the middle of the bush, very well done and great fun.

Having been recommended to do a Balloon Safari by friends, when given the opportunity to do it we went for it. The cost of $450 each is quite expensive however if you can afford to stretch your budget I would recommend it. It starts with a very early morning, we got picked up before 5am to drive to the place... More

We had big dissapointment with the balloon experience this company sold to us. First, we did not were picked up at our camp by anybody from its organization as agreeded but our own private guide. The excursion area was not the most interesting or beautiful in the park. If it has been we had enjoyed some incredible views in the... More

As a tour operator based in Turkey, I have visited so many countries but Tanzania is one of the places I want to go back again and again. When we have decided to go to Tanzania with friends, we had an adventures soul. We had some ideas of what to expect to see but our experience is difficult to explain... More

We went on this trip a couple of years ago and were the only two passengers. The crew made up the ballast! The trip meant a very early start but this added to the anticipation of the experience. The pilot was very good on safety advice and we had a clean take off and landing. What wildlife you will see... More

The wonderful thing about this balloon company is that you do not need to be 12 people in the basket to have the flight. There were just 3 of us and we took our safari driver too as there was so much room. Yes the cost was $550 but at least we were able to go up on low season... More

When I found out that I was going to Africa several people who had been there said that I had to do the balloon ride. When I saw that it was $450 I almost had second thoughts, but I went ahead and clicked the link to book the trip. The driver from Fig Tree (Dennis) picked me up at Porini... More

Fabulous. Pilot "Nihat" was professional, helpful, informative and went the extra mile to ensure we saw as much as possible on the ride. Apart from the stunning views and scenery I saw bat eared fox and a porcupine....both a first time for me in Tarangire. We saw so much. It was refreshing to also hear the company (well Nihat) actively... More

We booked this tour after having done something similar in Turkey. The experience in Turkey was one of the best experience of my life so we decided to do something similar in the Serengeti but unfortunately it was terrible. We paid $550 for a 45 minutes flight, the balloon didn't flight high enough and we didn't see many animals, the... More
