So many animals and the scenery is spectacular! Our stay at Porini Mara Camp was all we could have hoped for and more! The guides were great and we saw sooooo many animals. Brilliant, will go again!

First class all-round. The tented camps add a further dimension to visiting this part of Africa. The Porini camps staff are knowledgeable and friendly and ensure a great time is enjoyed. The food is excellent and the game drives unparalleled as only two/three vehicles are permitted in the Conservancy. The animals are unphased by their presence, making for tremendous photo... More

We visited Porini Mara from one of the 'luxury' camps in Amboseli and were a bit concerned about the basic nature of the camp. We need not have worried. From our Masai guides who met us at the airplane and stayed with is throughout to the kitchen staff and the chef , everyone lavished us with so much care and... More

Having just returned from Kenya, we have become committed to supporting the hugely professional way that the whole country is establishing a unique place for wildlife-loving tourists. Ol Kinyei Conservancy is perhaps the best example. The land-area is huge and kept natural as opposed to over-managed, like some. When the elephants wreck the trees, they stay wrecked, so you can... I visited Ol Kinyei on an earlier trip but just like the Olare Orok Conservancy, this is the way to go. Game galore, more then often seen inside the main reserve, and the priceless privacy one has with very few people allowed to stay in the handful of very nicely located camps, make for some of the best safari experiences... The Ol Kinyei Conservancy and the Porini Bush Camp will be a life-long memory! We really feel we have been right in the middle of Kenya’s very best wildlife and nature. The Porini Bush Camp is fantastic – close to nature, eco-friendly, warm hospitality and great food. The reserve has a very limited amount of visitors and we really felt... More

Remember the opening scene of Jurassic Park, when the guests spot their first dinosaur (and their mouths subsequently drop)? Ol Kinyei Conservancy has that same effect - and it never gets old. Of all the national reserves and conservancies that my Dad and I visited over the course of 7 days, including the Maasai Mara, Ol Kinyei was our favourite.... More

Porini camp was sensational. The staff very friendly warm and knowledgeable. Professional courtesy exemplified. As a raptor researcher I was amazed at the variety of raptors and other birds. The guide marima was one of the best I have ever come across. Ol Kinyei is a model to be followed.

The Conservancy had so much wild life, in our opinion much more than we saw in the main Mara Reserve. I think the Conservancy idea is a brilliant one, a win win situation where the Masai people are justifiably so involved with preserving wildlife. Our thanks to Africa Born for choosing conservancies over main reserves for our trip.
