Completely disorganized. Disappointing. If it was not Government funded, I am not sure how it would still survive. However, if you are a researcher, you could scramble through things and find a lot of unorganized but valuable information.

This is a super location for photographs with the amazing columns and beautiful front door. If you're interested in researching Kenya's early history, this is the place to go (with McMillan Memorial Library running a close second).

The name of this place is a misnomer. You go to see the African Art collection of a former politician who bequeathed his art to the museum. Very interesting masks and other objects from all over Africa. Small but interesting. They sell the last ticket at 4:30 PM but are happy to let you look around until 5:30 PM.

A good cultural and historical exposure to Kenya in 2 floors. The archives are located in downtown Nairobi, opposite the Hilton Hotel.

National Archives is a beautiful building in city center . It has rich history. Not just of Kenya but also of other African countries like Ethiopia, Uganda and Tansania. If you are a stamp collector, you will love whats available.

Unique artefacts from whole over the Africa in 1st floor. 2nd floor is focused on history of Kenya, mainly photos of political periods + stamps collections.
