The was an extra ordinary experience! One that had my teenage sons wanted to stay as long as we could. The giraffes -who we were able to feed were elegant and beautiful. We made friends with "Ed" who kep come back for more and more food 😄. In addition the guide there was well informed so we learnt quite a... More

There is a tower of 14 giraffes homed on this many acres. You can do a daily visit or stay at the giraffe manor. We chose the daily visit. The centre is open all day. Facilities include a viewing/feeding tower, gift shop, coffee shop and garden park. Our guide on the day, Evan, introduced us to two giraffes. He gave... More

This a one of the place one must visit during Nairobi stay. You can touch and feed Giraffe. That’s an unusual experience. They conduct session to give details about variety of giraffes and history around giraffe centre. It’s an amazing place for wonderful experience. The entry fess is 1000 Shilling i.e. approx 10-11 USD. No additional fees for feeding giraffe.

Feeding the giraffes was alot of fun. Can't believe you can see them so up close. There was also a family of warthogs..the babies are so cute. And to cap it all off, we did abit of shopping for curios that were very affordable and unique

I am out of words to say something for this place. It was extra ordinary! You enter the premises and you see nothing around for a while and get confused what's happening and then you climb up to a floor (don't know what they call it in dictionary) and you begin to see lots of giraffes at a distance. Conner... More

Sure, I've seen giraffes in pictures, but these guys were just wandering around doing their thing in real life! Was cool to be able to feed them, although bring some hand towels to wipe the slober off afterwards ;-D We even managed to see some of them mating... hahaha

It is a breath taking experience as you come very close to the giraffes and are able to feed it. The giraffes are very friendly and are trained to eat from people's hands. My kids were scared a bit from how big the giraffes are (compared to their size). They have a souvenir shop, but didn't have anything that you... More

I can't explain how amazing it was to feed, cuddle and get KISSED by a giraffe (Ed was on fire...he's the giraffe who kissed/licked me ;) ) It's 1,000 Kenyan Schillings to get in (about US$12) and worth every penny. The staff is AMAAAAZING (thanks to Judy and Godfrey for all the excellent info and the laughs). It was a... More

A must do specially if you have kids. You actually get to feed the giraffes with your own hands. There is also a small souvenir shop on site and a little cafe where you can get drinks.
