Wonderful centre where you can learn about the Giraffe and the program. Such fun getting to feed these gentle giants. Highly recommend a visit here if in the area.

You get to feed the giraffes here and learn about the different kinds and their viability. They have long black tongues to take the pellets from you. Like many, one of my daughters actually gave a giraffe a "kiss" - for a once in a lifetime photo opportunity. yechhh! It's great if you have kids and is good for the... More

The centre is excellent and we really enjoyed feeding the giraffes and being at their level. We got some great close up photos. We realy enjoyed the cafe (coffee / tea, cold drinks) and gift shop and found it to be one of the best gift shops we visited in Nairobi for quality souvenirs. We loved it so much we... More

This was the third time visiting the Giraffe Center and there's always something new to learn, besides the wonderful opportunity of feeding and kissing the giraffes.

It didn't make our top ten of things to do in Africa, but if you aren't going on safari, it would be worth your while.

As a part of a group traveling through Kenya, we made a very memorable stop to "The Giraffe Manor". We got an opportunity to feed the giraffes small veggie pellets (which they just ate up with their long, but gentle tongues). The keepers were very friendly, answered any questions and could always provide more pellets to feed the ever hungry... More

I didn't completely enjoy this experience. There was a big crowd huddling around two giraffes that were just continually fed pellets. It was great to see an amazing animal up close and to feed them but I wasn't entirely comfortable with the setup. Large groups of people pushed their way in front of people patiently waiting. Go early in the... More

We landed in Kenya & 1 of our first stops was the Giraffe Centre - what a great way to ease our way into life in Africa before going on safari! Imagine an outdoor education centre here where people can go to learn more about giraffes & that's what you will experience! There's a 2 story observation deck, which is... More

You cannot go wrong visiting the Giraffe Centre, For an adult it is probably a 2 minute visit but kids love it and the Giraffe get fat on the love.

I never thought I'd see a Giraffe up close...or feed it, much less get a kiss. One amazing factoid - Giraffes all have different patches or patterns. No two Giraffes are the same! My nephews and I had a fun time here. I have something to tell my grand children "grand ma kissed a Giraffe once..."
