Located in the heart of Karen, this center allows you to interact with giraffes up close. You are able to feed the giraffes as well as pet them. There's also a nature trail which provides good sceneries. Charges for non residents is Ksh 1000. If you are pressed for time would definitely recommend it.

This location has many endangered Rothschild Giraffes that come up close enough for you to feed and touch but beware - sometimes they play little tricks like trying to head butt you. A very informative talk on their situation is a real eye opener for people like me who thought a giraffe was a giraffe but after this I will... More

We spent about an hour here, which was the perfect amount of time. The staff was really good with the giraffes and with little kids. We got to feed the giraffes and look at warthogs and tortoises. There are also short walking trails across the street which are nice.

I cannot tell you how much I love this place! While it is a breeding center and not a rescue center, their focus on sustainability for the giraffes of Kenya is admirable. The up-close and very personal encounters with such incredible animals is perfect for anyone -- tourist of native to Nairobi. Try holding the food in your mouth to... More

We stopped here after being out in the Mara for a week and having gone on safari twice so seeing more giraffes wasn't at the top of my list, however it is a neat experience. Being able to be so close to them and feed them is different from taking pictures from 40 feet away. Probably would have been more... More

Not much to do here besides getting close and personal with giraffes which makes it worth the stop. They give you free food the feed the giraffes...even out of your mouth. The added bonus - warthogs hanging around. They are just as interesting as the giraffes. Pretty fun to watch. Make sure you hear the story of these t of... More

These hungry creatures will gently try to eat your hand. Perfect for getting a selfie. It seemed to me that the Giraffes were very well cared for, had plenty of ground to roam on and enjoyed interacting with humans. A positive and short trip. The ancillaries such as the gift shop were well put together and prices reasonable. It isn't... More

As we wrote in our review of the Sheldrick Trust for elephants, we had just returned to Nairobi from 10 days on safari, so seeing more giraffes was a bit of overload. However, if one has not been so fortunate to have been on safari, this centre is well worth the time. As well, we are gratified to have been... More
