Its a proper conference center in the centre of the city . after 5 PM the area and roads are clogged with traffic . They have a very fine restaurant inside .

Take the elevator up to the 26th floor and walk the final few stair wells to reach the top of the KICC. The top of the building itself is not impressive but the view (provided you go when the weather/haze isn't bad) is excellent and gives a great overview of the city. We went just before sunset and it was... More

A decent conference center too, but "the thing" of KICC is the view from the tower over the city. Amazing to go and look around especially if you know the city well

The convention Centre is situated right in the middle of Nairobi, a wonderful, bustling city, full of smells and life. We climbed to the top/heli-pad and managed to practice with my new lens. Views all over, and overlooking the Peace Park, where many office workers' sit for lunch. It is a great way to appreciate the size and density of this... More

It is recommended here as well as on lonely planet book as one of the top attractions so we decided to give it a shot. The main attraction is a helipad on the 30th floor from where one can see the whole city. It is one of the highest building so there is definitely overview. However, facility- wise there are... If you're going to the KICC, you have to go up to the helipad. Whilst you can get to the 26th floor by elevator, the final four floors are by steps only. But COMPLETELY WORTH IT! What an amazing view, you can see all of Nairobi city from up there.
