Was an exhibitor at the East Afripack show the week of 09/08/14. Setup went smoothly, but they have limited resources on-hand for electrical support. Ended up going to the local grocery to buy an extension cord. Booth wiring was a bit sketchy as the wiring from the main line was spliced with simple, exposed wires secured with electrical tape. It is a good place to go and get the view of Eastern Africa's largest city. On a clear day you will enjoy the most but on a clearest day you can get a glimpse of Mt. Kenya. It is great to spend 20 minutes of your Nairobi stay here. Try it!!!

If staying in town, take a walk to the KICC for a visit to the roof which gives excellent views of Nairobi and the places beyond such as Ngong Hills, National Park... Entrance fee (200Ksh / $2 Resident ), elevator to 26th Floor (I think) and some internal steps to the roof and helipad....there are no vertigo inducing moments as... More

After passing the security, leaving your ID or passport at the entrance (you have to sign in and wear the ID card they give you around the neck all the time), paying the entrance fee (200 KES for residents), operating an elevator (it does take some effort to get it right, and to go to the roof top you need... The exhibition was well organised and the facilities were ideal. The rooftop tour is worth a try (and quite entertaining) as you get to learn much about the city and its many historic buildings.

Excellent view of Nairobi Skyline from the roof top. If you're in Nairobi and have some time do go there and get a 360 degree view. It's just awesome. Fresh air, nice view. Can see Westlands, Nairobi National Park, JKIA and what not. The view is fantastic provided it's a clear day. Costs just about 400 Kenyan Shillings for Non-residents/foreigners... More
