I go in there cool and come out sweating, either they dont switch on the ac's or they dont have them at all...the 3D is actually good enough but the screen is too large, some scenes in the movie can make you turn your head if you are seated on either ends of the theatre :)

Best 3d showing in Nairobi. Largest screen and best sound in town. Would have been 5 stars were it not for the less other than movie itself experience. Only seem to serve Coke, hotdogs and popcorn! Nothing else. Crumped space at the booking booth, washrooms and waiting bay.

Been to iMax for close to every action movie they have screened to date. It is by far the best cinema in kenya (maybe in E.Africa to date. The screen is amazing, make sure to get on in the back 5 rows or it might be overwhelming to move your head around everytime. Aad for the snacks yhey serve, nothing... More

it's a bit odd seeing in the foyer where you pay, which is upstairs, then you come back down for your free sandwich and lemonade. The cinema is very small, but seats very comfortable. the viewing experience is definitely very realistically 3D, in many scenes. I enjoyed it, oh the film was 300, Rise of an Empire.

The theater experience is wonderful. On the other hand the staff can be quite rude and unprofessional. They don't seem to have gotten the way around to handling a large number of clients especially when shows are so closely timed. The vendors outside the theater are ridiculously overpriced and the popcorn and hotdogs arent even that good. If going for... More

WOW! The whole experience was actually great! The movie wasnt really that awesome but honestly IMAX have worked hard to ensure that everything on their end was more than splendid.

This place is often overcrowded, the theater dirty, customer service is not bad but not the best either. It's just very average. High school and university students are crawling at the place. If you want to see a movie for a date or as a family, don't go here. Westgate, Junction, (or the theaters in a suburban area) are much... More

the screen is just so huge that you can't look at it all at once. yeah,u have to move your eyes from one ends of the screen to the other, at least i had to n i was on the third last row. the 3d is simply breath taking. a bit too loud though. depends on the movie, obviously. i... More

I remember visiting the old 20th century cinema in Nairobi and i thought to myself how terrible it was especially the sound. Fast forward to Imax 20th century and the movie experience is just superb.. The screen, the sound the atmosphere is just breathtaking... It makes you want to watch movies again and again...

I can't believe that there are people who still have not been to IMAX. Its a fantastic screen, especially when you go with friends and you get a movie that you all love. Only tiff I have with the place is theres not enough space outside the cinema hall. Its felt on premier nights.
