It was a great experience. Our driver was sent by the consierege of Sarova Panafric and he knew very well the park. We could even see lions. Go there early in the morning!

Bad roads made it feel genuine and a lot of animals BUT go really early. Make sure to get a driver that is experienced. A little bit weird feeling to see a big city sky line in the background :-)

The most amazing thing is that you don't have to drive far to reach the park. It can also be used as a base on holiday as long as you are back before 6 in your lodge. We saw lion, rhino and buffalo and of course the usual giraffe, ostrich etc.

In some places we could see Nairobi skyline in the background, which made awesome pictures! We saw gazelles, herds of zebra, black rhino and white rhino herds, lone ostriches, wild dogs dining on a fresh gazelle, huge secretary bird, Cape buffalo herds, and Miles of dirt roads and hills. Perfect cool weather in July. It was gorgeous, I'll never forget... More

I've been to Nairobi national park 50+ times now and I have experience that I can share with you, first off if you are not very patient and easily bored do not go into the national park as you are not going to see a lion every-time, unless you hire a safari car which is driven by an employee of... A great natural setting in the middle of Nairobi. What a pleasure it was! The only downbeat, was we did not see any of the lions. But, that is the chance you take. Knowing now, we would have taken a different car for the drive. Something with more clearance and height would have been better. Park staff seems to be... More

As a child who adored The Lion King, I always dreamed of seeing the African wildlife in the most natural setting possible. My tour of Nairobi National Park with Urban Adventures was the fulfilment of that dream. Although it was expensive, my private tour guide Michael made my experience fantastic, more than making up for the cost. Because it was... More

It is the perfect starter safari when you visit Kenya. Although there are no elephants, it has everything else. And for those of us that live in Nairobi, it is a great place for a weekend picnic and to stay close to nature.

What an incredible way to spend a morning! We saw so many beautiful animals on our tour and learned all sorts of interesting things from our fantastic guide, Evans. Such a unique perspective on the wildlife of Africa, seeing a pair of rhino grazing with skyscrapers in the background. Absolutely worth your time.

This could be a much nicer attraction with a little bit more attention to make the road within the Park more motorable. It was not too impressive that there were not more animals to view beyond Zebra, Giraffe (rarely), Antelope and other common wildlife. Very large and nice grounds so, with a bit more effort, it could be a great... More
