I have visited spinners web several times in the past with the last one being in August 2014. There is a large variety of artifacts and one word can describe the collection: unique. Especially, the antiques. There are very interesting pieces that one cannot find in the markets. However, at a bit higher cost...but I guess it's worth it. Two... More

We visit this shop regularly for soft furnishings and presents for family back home in the UK. The prices are reasonable, there is no hassle or need to barter and it is in safe and pleasant surroundings. Unfortunately the service at the cafe is awful. The food is nice but the service is very poor and this puts us off... More

We come here regularly to buy gifts to take back to UK. Nice environment with no hassle from sellers. Everything priced so no need to barter. We would come here more often and use the cafe (as would many of our friends) but the service is terrible. Very slow and unwelcoming. If i ran the store i would sort this... More

The place is not a central one, but it is very spacious, has a good parking and a small cafe (coffee not bad at all, there is pizza, not much of a food choice) and a garden. It is quiet and relaxing inside, photography not allowed, though. Staff are very nice and friendly, but sometimes payment process can get a... More

We didn't purchase much since we have wine taste on beer budget. However, the selection and quality were excellent. Not the stuff you would buy on the roadside stands.

I had read reviews about this shop and was interested to check out the shop. They have a lot of products, good variety however they are over priced. You can get better prices at the Giraffe Centre Gift Shop or the Intercontinental Hotel Gift Shop, the quality is at par or better. Very nice and clean shop.

This place is like the Mayfair part of London . Comparing to Nairobi markets. Its cool quiet and relaxing. The coffee shop is great, I had the best samosa ever. My husband had the carrot cake (lovely) Yes it's pricey, but hey you don't get hassled and the place is a heavenly retreat for shoppers easy to find. I would... More

Spinner's web is a great one-stop shop for good quality crafts - from pottery to bead work to rugs and clothing. You get to see the best of Kenyan craftsmanship under one roof - and the carrot cake at the Cafe is wonderful. Having said that, the goods are a bit pricey. If you're on a budget you may fare... Not to be missed if you appreciate quality handmade products! A lovely peaceful setting with high quality original and unique gift items. The variety of crafts is amazing from handmade quality leather goods, to woven wall hangings, jewellery to items made from coffee wood such as bowls. The shop is a cooperative with the products arriving direct from the artisans... More

For travellers who visit Kenya and want to take home some souvenirs, but don't want the hassle of going to the Markets where traders follow you, you have to haggle for a decent price, you get hot and sweaty and you just don't get a chance to window shop- Spinners web is the perfect place. I now live in Nairobi... More

It is true that we do stock many of the products that can be found at the markets with an innovative twist. With over 200 vendors and consignees, many of which can... More
