Out of Africa is one of my all time favorite movies which made visiting the Karen Blixen Museum even more memorable. The giraffe Center was great and is not to be missed.

both the Karen Blixen Museum and Giraffe Centre are both worth visiting if you are in Nairobi. You can easily manage both in an afternoon.

We had the best guided tour of the property. He was very knowledgeable and easily answered all of our questions. A thoroughly delightful experience and well worth the time to stop and see it.

The National Park is well worth a visit. It needs several hours to do it justice, but you will see a wide variety of animals and birds remarkably close to the city. It is quite expensive for non Kenyans, but worth it. The animal orphanage, also expensive, is not worth a visit, however. Not to be confused with the wonderful... More

I visited the museum and giraffe centre at the beginning of an amazing Gate 1 11 day tour of Kenya. On my last day in Nairobi I booked a private game drive in Nairobi National Park. It certainly rounded out my visit and got some great views of a Black Rhino.

I visited both the Giraffe Center and the Karen Blixen Museum, but did not travel further into the National Park. Seeing the giraffe up close and feeding them was fun, though there are so many school groups there that it is all a bit rushed. On the other hand, the Karen Blixen Museum is an oasis of calm in the... More

The Karen Blixen museum is a must see. I've watched out of Africa like everyone else but visiting this place makes you feel like you are transported back in time. It is quite pricey US$16 per adult so cost us $40 with our son. Brilliant. One of my highlights in Kenya!!

Three of us left with a guide and 4x4 land Land Rover to discover the Giraffe Park, the Elephant Orphanage and the National Park.We returned exuberant... More

it was arranged by our hotel, Villa Rosa Kepminski. the taxi picked us early morning and we got the chance to spend 4 relaxing hours driving in the wilderness and the meet closely the Giraffes and the zebra's. there is no wild animal or we couldn't see any. in all cases it was a nice trip. P,S. get some good... More
