We organised a trip for 2 in a private car. The visit was well worth it, including the stand-off with a buffalo which lasted 30 minutes. The view from the Out-of-Africa view point was magnificent. However, the price to get in was also magnificent - a hefty $80 which was double what we had paid for in Nairobi National and... More

Broad yet shallow, Lake Naivasha lays claim to a unique history, having entirely dried up at the beginning of the 20th century, only to reappear years later, brought back to life by heavy rains. Beautiful and serene in the daytime, the lake’s waters are often whipped into dramatic waves by late afternoon thundershowers. This turbulent characteristic led to the local... More

It was very nice to see variety of animals, however, it would be nice if the zoo keepers could track the feline animals and direct the visitors to see these sorted animals. The Kenyan government needs to vamp up and improve the roads and surrounding communities that lead to this zoo. Overall, we were very overjoyed to have seen different... More

Went to the park and decided to go with a friend who had been there many times, guaranteed to see loads of animals she says. No go,drove for miles and saw very little wild life, better off going to Longleat for the day. Soooo take an organised tour, the tour guides keep in touch with the other guides by radio so... More

My son and I had a wonderful two days in and around Nairobi. Although I had been through Nairobi several times on way to Arusha, Tanzania, I had not taken the opportunity to see the sights. Wima Tours organised an itinerary that took in the major attractions including the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Elephant Orphanage, Karen Blixon's home, a walk around... More

Mindblowing experience ! The hot air balloon ride was organized by the owners of the Sun Bird Lodge [ superbly located and exquisitely done up place, perched atop a hill overlooking Lake Elementaita - a view to die for !] . We spotted a variety of birds on the lake, including pelicans and then gently drifted over the 48,000 acre... More

My friend and I were tired of the hustle and bustle of the city and decided we ought to get out Nairobi. We initially settled on a trip to Lake Naivasha, but when we got to there, we thought, there is nothing new that Lake Naivasha would offer us, so we decided to proceed to Lake Elementaita. All I can... More
